Superman actually comes from Krypton. Kolob is where the Colonel gets his 11 secret herbs and spices, though.

Trace out roots to Kolob? Hmmm...first time I've ever heard that.
Actually we trace our physical roots back to Adam and Eve, and out "eternal" roots back to our Heavenly Father. We are literally his spiritual offspring - what potential we have!!
Just for future reference to Kolob:
We only know of it to be the governing star nearest to where God dwells. You can read more in the Pearl of Great Price.
