I don't actually feel that God has a gender, but being an important entity, naturally in those days when the Bible was written, God would be referred to as a he. I kinda go with the "I'm the Alpha and the Omega" idea, which would preclude gender. But I'm comfortable referring to God as "he." I think the only ones who aren't are trying to be too "enlightened" for their good.

Why do we have to prove anything?

According to Genesis, we are the genetic offspring of God, and so "father" or "mother" is appropriate in our manner of expression. Since the Bible was written by a patriarchal society, "father" stuck.

God is surpreme, the creatater ther is none greater then God.Perhaps then,he is neither,or is both. After all he is God.Auther of all creation! I myself referr to God as him,or he,because in Genesis, the first chapter,26 th verse, the bible says"let us make man in our own image,in our likness. That then would mean to me,that if i look like a man,and that in his likness, then he to would resemble a male.

I don't believe in god, but if there was a higher power, I doubt it'd have a gender. Do you imagine god with a wang?
I typically refer to god as "he" though, just because that's how it's usually done and I don't apply my feminist nature to things I don't believe exist.

First, the Bible doesn't cover every religion and belief and by maintaining gender neutrality, one can be more inclusive.

Second, it's very presumptuous of you to assume that your view on religion is the only valid view.

They are giving the Message that they do not believe in the Bible record. They are giving the message that they do not have respect for God for what He is ( and acknowledge Him as who He is ). : )

The notion that god is a he and a father is pretty ridiculous, in my opinion. In my family, it has always been the mothers that gave birth. Are you that different?
