2 Thessalonians 2:9-12 says that people who stubbornly insist on believing religious lies, while rejecting what is clearly revealed in scripture, will be left alone to believe their delusions. They become blind.
Watchtower Witnesses(who believe they are Jehovah Witnesses), have had false prophecy, after false prophecy, "proven" false over the last few decades. They've "admitted" their religion has had to change errors in several other areas as well.
Yet this is not enough for Witnesses to wake up and realize they are not the true religion. Instead, they commend themselves for correcting these errors, without realizing the Bible says constant error is a sign one is not worshiping in Spirit and Truth, but worshiping according to human tradition.
Religious reputation can not be placed before Biblical Truth.

i does no longer situation about even if human beings call a church a cult. lately, this be conscious has been tossed round by those who opt to discredit somebody else's faith. I personaly have self assurance that the reason human beings call JW's and Mormons cults is because they have energetic missionary classes that lead human beings faraway from different church homes. that's offensive to them. maximum mainstream Christian church homes would somewhat seep transformations lower than the rug and pretend tha the are all ok. JW's do missionary artwork. So what? Mormons persist with residing prophets in an attempt to worship Jesus Christ. So did each of the human beings interior the bible. the in problem-free words those who do compared to a prophet are those who're residing mutually.

the most important thing you can do is to read the Bible (get one in modern day English) and if you want to make sure your worship is acceptable to God then do not join any religion that practices rituals or observes festivals that arent clearly and obviously found in the Bible. Did you know that Jesus warned us that there would be many more *false* christians in the world than true ones? see Matthew 7:13-23. Also did you know that these false christians are ones that have been decieved into believing lies? see 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11. Did you know that nowhere in the Bible does anyone celebrate Jesus' birthday? and that the Bible proves Jesus could not have been born on December 25th? The December 25th date is a lie, a deception by satan to trick people into doing something detestable to God! Know your Bible and worship in truth! see John 4:23, 24. agape!

If you don't know that the man who started the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints is JOSEPH Smith, not John, then you didn't do a heck of a whole lot of research.
Have you READ the Book of Mormon? If someone told you that the BIble was full of crap, and they knew this even tho they had never read it, would you just say, OK, that's cool!"?
Why not learn from the Mormons what the Mormons believe, and why? And that would probably be a good idea for the JW's, also.

Over time I have dealt with many different religions, Bible based and other wise. Every one of them have their own beliefs and ways of worshipping. Who says any one of them is correct. Why is it that Christians and their Bible are the only true religion? Who says the Bible is even right? Sorry I'm not trying to get anyone mad or start anything. There are a lot of documents that have been found to support the Bible, but there have also been many that support other religions as well. My opinion is that there is no real way to know. I believe that every religion is worshipping God (no matter what name that they use), and I believe that each of the religions have MANY strong points to them as for guidence in life. I was raised with a Christian backround and my husband was raised as a Mormon. I don't necessarily believe the way that they do, but I have seen how close their families are, and support within the church. There is also a lot less drug and alcohol use (although there are users no matter what religion or back round). As long as they are not hurting any one and have peace in their lives, who cares what name they want to call God or their religion.

There are two types of blindness, (1) not knowing we are (2) knowing we are and pretending not to be. If we were taught something from little on up we would be found at point 1. But when the Jehovah Witnesses tell their people they cannot take any material from any ones houses because they might be exposed to "false doctrine" or better yet the true gospel that would fall under point 2. When the Almighty in Revelation 1:8 is also called the first and the last in verses 11 and seventeen of that same chapter and Jesus says in that chapter that He is the first and the last and that He was dead and alive again. We know He is speaking of Himself because the Heavenly Father has never died! But still the Watchtower Society denies Jesus is Almighty God. This is point 2, a sad, wilful blindess, the worst kind of all.

Considering how different the Catholic Bible is from the original texts, you are a pot calling the kettle black.
If you want a relatively pure copy of Scripture, go back to the original languages, and read the early versions of each book. Not just the books the modern churches include; all of them. Then figure out which was inspirsed and which is blatherskite for yourself.

So what is the question?
I guess if you are asking how...hmmm
I can't answer, I am not a Mormon or a Jew..
There are other bizarre Christian occults though, like the Shakers (belived in absolutely no sex..took in orphans and shook with a dance like ritual..died out..go figure) Then there are the Amish and Menonite who are looked at with disbelief in today's society who persevere with no modern ammenities. Not to be associated in any way - Even more bizarre is David Keish or people like Jim Jones and Helter Skelter followers that are still practicing sects that dote they follow God...it is interisting what people will believe.

I don't believe in mainstream or organized religions either..I I believe in Spirituality. But to answer your question, Cults, religions, individuals, etc...can be blind because God has not opened their eyes, ears and hearts to seek the truth. To be open to receiving these truths, a person or group must ask God for guidance and understanding, when praying and studying...It's so easy to blindly believe others, unless a person does his own research...

God judges the heart of a man`s soul, He also will judge the teachings of the leaders of the different churches. All churches and leaders will come short of the truth but the heart of a righteous man prevaileth much in the eyes of The Lord.
