They've been in the pan for 45 minutes now, but still don't look the right colour. Am I doing something wrong?

Hurry please. I'm very hungry.

Tell someone that he faked riding his bike to work? In the e-mail, it claims that anyone who shows up to work on a bike between a certain time frame will receive free breakfast and prizes.

He's really cheap and will do anything for free ... he CHEATED!

I work in an office and I wear the whole office dress with heels and stuff. I notice a few guys that seem to go out of their way to look up my skirt. One day, I just showed them. I noticed after I did that, the guy would go in the bathroom for 20 minutes then go back to work. Which I think is better then them dilly dallying around my desk for 9 hours. Since I have been doing this, guys have been getting a lot more work done. My co-worker, who is a girl, told me I am a whore. Its just up my skirt. I am wearing underwear. I mean, who cares!

It seems that there is a meal time every five minutes. Why do we have to eat so often. One meal a day should be enough for anyone. I have been up since 3am clearing up the house and have to keep stopping first for breakfast and now for lunch. ..Why can't someone come and cook for me??????

When people open a bottle of champagne or give you an alcoholic drink. I have a strong aversion to alcohol and am also taking medication which increases the effects of alcohol.

When I say no thank you, I don't drink, they think I am no fun and do not ask me again or treat me like a little kid or just ignore me.

My friend says you have to drink so they think you are like them, but I don't want to and if I have a small amount, even a sip I get drunk and I don't want people make fun of me.

If older people talk about sex and dirty stuff, and you are younger and do not want them to lose respect for you by joining in and find it disgusting.

And they ask you why you are so quiet and serious, and they go out of their way to try and shock you. What is a polite thing to say, knowing if you join in it will bring your reputation and status down to theirs.

Is it polite to read and ignore them as I have been doing. This is in a work and educational setting at break.

I believe it is stupid that having sex with a person underage is always and immediatly classified as 'rape'. I'm not implying that underage sex shouldn't be taken seriously but find it extremely unfair that regardless of the situation the burden is always placed upon the person of age and therefore they are labeled a rapist ....Agree or disagree?
Please feel free to express your thoughts.

My fiancee is in the airforce. He's been stationed 6,000 miles away for the last two months. However, he's home this week to visit me.

My friend told me that she and her boyfriend wanted to go out with us to dinner to celebrate his return. Then I get a call from friend saying that we couldn't have dinner until 7:30 (instead of 4:30 as planned) because bf had other plans.

Even though finacee and I are starving, we wait to eat until 7:30. When we arrived at their house her bf was like, "I ate a really big sandwich while I was out. I don't feel like going out to another dinner" etc, etc.

I was PISSED. We ended up not having dinner with them

Hi I am a pizza delivery man, and my customers always ask me: " How Are You" (Хаваю) It is the most useless, retarded question a stranger can ask. It shows their ignorance to you and how fake they are. If you dont mean it, just dont say it. It is not like anybody cares about my lifestory anyways. And if I am not OK, I will say I am not. If it is something people say to be nice or polite, it is better for them not to say anything at all. Or else mean it that you really care how I am!

my wife died last year - I got no support from most people at all. Only 2 people were there for me, and both were out of state. nobody here. everyone waited until I called them, but I wasn't in any condition to go and call everyone for a long time. And then what do you say when nobody says anything to you for a year or more. why should I have to go and call everyone when my wife dies? but everyone expected me to call them. It's just insane. you just aren't in any condition to do so. I couldn't believe how thoughtless people were. It just blows my mind. I shouldn't be shunned just because people don't know what to say. I didn't do anything wrong. I just don't understand why people have responded the way they did.

My college professor is in his early 30s and I'm in my late teens. We are both adults. He is not married, has no kids, and is very attractive. Recently, he started gaining an interest in me and compliments me on my perfume, has asked me to go with him for coffee, has asked me out for a bite to eat, winked at me, etc.. I haven't gone out with him yet. I just told him that I'll call him when I don't have any plans. But he is very persuasive..
I've never had a boyfriend before and I don't want to get in trouble for dating him but we have this strong chemistry. Should I quit taking his classes and date him? I need this course for credit. What if dating him doesn't work out. Will he flunk me? There's too many what ifs and I don't know what to do! Help!

There is this man about 40 years of age, that has constanly humiliated me, or has put me down or said something not really pleasant to me at church as well as to other women. It has been going on for years.
Aside from this he is the chairman of the church, and he is a producer from the entertainment industry meaning he has $$ and can afford to act this way.
Can I ask you if no one complains, but people notice his behavior, how can one get to the top with bad behavior?

Okay so I have been screwed over twice at work in less than 3 weeks. The first time I got asked the day before to work on a day I was supposed to get off(which I was gonna use to catch up on my studying) and it turns out that the day I was asked to work, somebody else who was SUPPOSED to be there wasnt and they werent sick.

Then this monday I was supposed to leave at a certain time but because somebody else had a "migrane", I had to stay extra and that just so happened to be the day before a test. Now I had the chance to just go as I was supposed to but decided to not be so self-centered and stay. By the way, the person who was supposed to be there that monday didnt exactly look sorry about what happened and they knew what my situation was.

So now that I know what could happen, Im deliberately not gonna get a cell phone and I wont answer my house phone.

It's really a downer I hate it. You can tell an amusing anecdote, but shop talk should stay out of the lunch room. What do you do to combat constant shop talk in the lunchroom?

As she was walking out, he didn't see me coming in, and he just mumbled "dumba$s" at her as she left his office. I feel like this is really inappropriate. Should I tell my boss that I heard what he said? Should I tell my coworker what he called her? Should I ignore it?

I am a college student, and it seems like manners are completely dead. Every day in class, there are at least six people chewing gum, and if that weren't bad enough, they're not really chewing it so much as they're gnawing, popping, and smacking it. Nobody remembers how to blow their nose, so there are constantly sniffles and snorts of mucous headed back up the nostrils. People waltz in late, talk or whisper throughout class, and put their feet on the table.

But is that all? No. Every day, *every* day, there are at least two people with a drink from Starbucks, and they are compelled to drink during class. It is annoying enough listening to them swallow, but swishing their ice around or scraping the whipped cream off the sides of the cup is aggravating. The slurping sounds are downright annoying, and it's very distracting to see a young lady... intimately engaged, one might say... with the straw.

People also eat during class. The eating sounds are terrible, but nobody takes their food
