No, no one likes a bragger, but I'd say it isn't unlucky to brag.
In the docu-film "The Secret", they say that people who talk about how rich they are etc, will draw that towards them - someone talking about how poor & unlucky they are will draw more poorness & bad luck towards them. The Law of Attraction.

Let other people notice what you accomplished by not blowing your own horn coz even if it is true but it is only you who praised on what you have done, still it would look like a **** to others......

I don't believe anything is unlucky.
It's unfortunate to brag to the wrong person because they might make you pay for it.
