I was wondering because I know he likes me, and I don't want to wait too long. They have been broke up 2 weeks now.

she hugged me for a while like 15 seconds. she said take care in her low gentle voice...there was no wasit contact.. then she squeezed me briefly...it kinda hurt.. then she turned her back on me, never giving eye contact, even as she shut the door...she was leaving for good. she was saying take care as she walks away with her back turned to me...

it was her last day at work...shes around 10 years my senior...she was sort of my supervisor....despite my name vincent, im female...uhm, no dirty ideas..but what does that mean when she didnt give me eye contact even?

as she closes the door carefully, there wasnt even a smile, but she wasnt looking back at me...

shes a very nice person, very thoughtful..shed praise me when i did a good job..i just sort of felt 'snubbed' when i wasnt looked back at...

I had a roommate move from out-of-state so he didn't know anyone really, but we both just started law school. The 1st week, he'd always ask me where I was and what I was doing; I just assumed he was like this because he was new and it was the first week (maybe he was lonely?). Soon I tell him I really wasn't expecting to make the roommate situation a friendship thing ('cause at this point, he made lists of what we should be doing together...i.e. he'll teach me to swim, we have to go to the park together to learn stuff, etc.). A couple days ago, I came home early to find him in my room (even though I close the door) watching tv..he acted like it was completely normal. Apparently, he's been doing this for awhile. If he didn't really creep me out, I'd try to work it out, but now my mom thinks maybe he's just lonely and that's alright (obviously my dad doesn't think so lol). Bad thing is he returned the wrong keys and said it was an accident when I asked for them. O_O

We have new neighbors. They moved in this past weekend. Their dog barks non stop. It starts at 6:30 in the morning and goes on and on. My husband works second shift and rarely gets to bed before 2 am. Four and half hours is not enough sleep, obviously. What should I do about this issue. We have considered going over and talking with them, but we're hesitant to do so because it may lead to problems, especially if they don't take our concerns seriously and we have to call the police. We thought about calling the police anonymously. What are your thoughts? What would you do?

he is elder bro of my hubby, he isn't married yet. When we (me and hubby) asked him that he shuld get married now, he joked with my hubby that u married earlier then me u have to give me 3 million as penalty.

It was funny he kept saying u guys shuld give it to me then i will think about it. I said in return ,'' see how beautiful neiece i have given u'' and u still ask for 3 million.

it was a joke. when we came in room. my hubby said, i cannot beleive u said something so stupid , unappropriate and serious.

I was gobsmacked he said watch out wt u say. It can be perceived as serious and non relevant ans to a joke.

DO U PEOPLE THINK IT WAS STUPID OF ME? am i stupid?

When you have posted a question politely and simply and you get a barrage of answers from people who disagree and are so inarticulate that they have to resort to abusive language and derogatory statements.

My husband and I are thinking about initiating the process of baptizing our three month old. He wants his best friend (who is single) to be the godfather, and I want my best friend (who is married) to be the godmother. However, I was always under the impression that godparents should be a married couple, therefore, I feel like my best friend and her husband should be the godparents, instead of two people who have no connection to each other. He says it doesn't matter. Any thoughts?

This one woman and I went out to a restaurant as a first date. I offered to pay because I figured it would be common etiquette for her to pay me back asap (I didn't tell her, again I figured it was common etiquette). I haven't brought it up to her yet, but it's been three weeks and she hasn't paid me back yet. Is my girlfriend a golddigger? Does she seriously have no idea what "etiquette" means?

I've paid for the date, now I expect to be paid back, in money, for my expenses. Is that so difficult?

Do you think it's proper that a husband and wife play games? You know, he's the pirate and she's the captured lady.

Or she's the lady and he's the gardener. Or she's just a tart and he's the gentleman. You know? but like is it all proper?

Like, there's nothing wrong with it, is there? Like it's only fantasy. That's all.
