Start by going to church. Surround yourself with people who exhibit the qualities you are striving for. Follow their role model. Perform random acts of kindness---help someone with a flat tire or a broken down vehicle. Help out at a non-profit organization like a food pantry or soup kitchen.
Practice kindness, respect, honesty and integrity.
Take the time to stop and think before each word and deed and decide if it reflects the "new" you.
At the end of each day, reflect upon the day's events: Is there anything you should or could have done differently? Was there an opportunity to offer assistance, words of support or kindness that was missed. Daily reflection will help you find your way. Above all, pray to your God for guidance in this endeavor and let Him lead the way!

I'm proud of your decision...it shows a lot of maturity and it sounds like you put a lot of thought into it.

The first thing to do is to get rid of everything that could inspire you violence or anything that could make you an " Evil doer".

But I warn you, It's not gonna be easy . I don't want to scare you. But I'm telling you the truth: as a baby learns how to walk, the first steps are always difficult.

So the best way to hold on is to pray about it and begin to do everything that you identify as pure , clean and kind hearted.

Prepare yourself , clean all inside . Cause you may not know it, but as you have identified the path you want to choose, you already have victory!

Take care!

Some people have suggested joga, and I would also suggest learning to meditate, as it opens up your awareness of how your actions affect others and increases your empathy.

It also leaves you feeling relaxed, content and fulfilled, and you'll treat people kindly.

Remeber it takes a while, you won't change overnight, but you will change if it is what you really want.

Regardless of what you've done or how you've been in the past it's amazing how you can change. Leave the past behind you and move on to a better life.

well, first of all you can start by writing down the things that can make people around you happy.I recommend you to be friends with you neighbours first by cooking a good meal for them or something else before you understand youself first. By doing this you can actually let those around you trust and believe in you, that way only can you change yourself because people around you have hopes for you.

Hope you succeed in turning over a new leaf. =)

Its very comforting to know that there are still people like you who have the courage and humility to change. Actually a person can start transforming by first accepting your shortcomings and most importantly ask forgiveness.

It may be challenging at first but once you commit yourself to HIM - then HE will lead you to the right path. I believe all the adjectives you mentioned are Christ-likeness.

You made us all proud!

Go and volunteer for an animal charity. Cleaning out sh*t and fleas will improve you. It will actually make you more compassionate despite the sh*t and fleas, the little animals are helpless.
