Hi
My neighbour has a cactus on display in her window which has the look of an excited part of the male anatomy..but with spines.
As a celibate christian I am highly offended by this graphic repesentation of the male member and have approached her only to be told to 'go away' in no uncertain terms. How can I approach the issue, its really upsetting me?

I am graduating high school next year but was just wondering can you still send out graduation announcements if your not having a party. It's not that I want gifts (although it would be nice!!!! ha ha ha) but I still want the experience of annocing my acomplishments to my extened family. Is this poor etiquete?

My neighbors mow my yard without me asking them too. I have a 7 month old and my husband is in Iraq so I dont quite jump at the opportunity to mow my yard and my neighbors have taken it into their own hands. I dont mind that they do it and I know that they are doing it out of kindness, but I dont know what to say to them or how to thank them. I know they wont accept money. She said all she wanted was a simple Thank you. I dont feel as me saying thank you is enough. I would love too cook for them (but I would like to keep them as my neighbors lol).
If she said all she wanted was a simple Thank You, Should that be enough? I almost feel guilty and didn't offer the info that my husband was deployed because I didn't want anyone feeling sorry for me. I would buy them something but I have NO CLUE what they are into...This is frustrating and I feel like I owe them something. What should I do. I am fine with saying thank you but I feel guilty, like that is not enough.

Long story short....friend had boyfriend...boyfriend has drinking problem....friend just found out her boyfriend is still married....friend thought she was preggers....it was negative....she was sad.....I got friend a kitten as a suprised to help cheer her up.....I know not a good idea.....kitty is sick...friend is clueless, and does not have a maternal/common sense bone in her body.....took kitty to vet....repritory infection.....kitty needs a safe home where it can be taken care and given meds....should I keep the kitten????

My boyfriend had 2 big dirty (he doesn't wash them) dogs. He gives them almost full reign of the house, except for the bedroom and kitchen. He finally gave into me and prohibited them from those 2 rooms because I kept complaining about the filth. His big dirty, stinky dogs basically live on his nice leather couches. They use to be light gray, now there gray with black streaks all over them. There is also dog **** on the couches. I haven't sat in the living room for over 4 months now. I don't understand why he won't let his dogs live outside in a nice dog house. Does anyone understand what i'm saying? Why are some peoples dogs more important than HUMANS to them?

Would it be a racist remark to say that a lot of southern asians, or people that look like people of the indian sub continent, are specialists at curry?

neighbors moved in about a week ago. i found dog poo all over our lawn while i was watering the grass. she was outside also, letting her dogs run loose into my yard and jump all over me. i politely asked her to pick up the waste and to keep the dogs contained to her own property. she picked up the waste, but has been letting the dogs run all over our lawn eversince. yesterday, one of the dogs was on my back deck at my back door! i told her about it, but she has a bad attitude. i've tried to be nice already so i called animal control, and they're going to come out and let her know that her dogs can't be running loose onto others' property. they won't show up for a few days, cos i'm worried about confrontation. and today i had the yard surveyed, and while i was outside looking at the boundaries, she let her dogs loose and they came right into my yard and jumped all over me. anyone been in a similar situation?? i hate living here now. i had to tie rope across our deck to keep the dogs out

I am an adult learner at a technical school. Recently, I have become disheartened at hearing other adult learners making fun of each other, and one made a comment directed towards me.
First, a hispanic female made a comment, "No offense, but all white people are stupid."
We have a girl in our class from the south, and someone said, "She's been here for years, why does she still sound so retarded?"
And today, a woman said to me, "Why are you so fat? Do you have a drinking problem? Beer makes you fat. You must be an alcoholic." (I was very bothered due to the fact that I have been dieting for 8 months).
Jeez! We're adults! We are all between the ages of 20 and 50, and the ones making all of the comments are in their 30s! What are people's problems? We just started classes not even a month ago, none of us really even know each other, yet we have people with high school mentalities.
How to deal with people like this? It seems a little immature to go tattling, but..........?
