Sorry, a secret is a secret. No one has to give you this information for any reason. And if you are a kid, there are many things that you don't need to know until you are old enough to understand all the ramifications of the issue. It is the way it is.

A secret is a secret because few people know about it. Maybe the secret is none of your business, maybe it is a personal secret.
They do not have to tell you anything.
Quit butting into someone else's business.

Be happy you are not given the burden of keeping their secret. It is funny but true (I believe) that when you really don't care about the secret and don't want the responsibility, people will race to your door non-stop to pile all their secrets at your feet like you were the reincarnation of Solomon.

You shouldn't be offended. People who can be trusted to keep secrets are rare. So, if you have a secret and need to share it with someone, you now know who you can trust with information that will not be spread.

if you really really want to know their secret you have to earn their trust first. you're not going to go up to somebody in school and tell them your secret, so why should they tell you yours.
