YEs I know it sounds like a pointless question but I went to the shoe shop yesterday with my 16 month daughter and they measured her feet and said they were very small and none fo the shoes in the shop go down to that size. She is size 2 1/2. Is that small compared to everyone elses toddler? And wat am I supposed to do for shoes now? Buy little baby booties? She started walking at 11 months but I put off buying shoes because I think it is better for them to not ahve shoes as long as possible.

my son as a baby used too shake his leg up and down in his bouncy seat, this made him rock back and forth(we never had too buy batteries for his swings or bouncers he did it him self). but now he is 2 and a half now he sits in chairs and bounces off the back like doing situps and lays in bed and when it is time for bed and throws his head up and down bouncing. has anyone heard of this and why is he doing it still. is he comforting himself.

My son is mixed Hispanic/Laos/Thai
He has trouble talking sometimes mixing the languages together.
He is only 3. Should we look into speech therapy? I want him to be able to communicate well with other children when he starts school next year.

My daughter just turned 2 and we put her on the potty and tell her to go and she just sits there. Every once inawhile she will go. I think she doesnt know how to say when she has to go yet, or maybe she cant control that muscel yet to hold it. She can talk and she does know what the potty is and what do do on the potty. Im struggling with it and after a couple days of putting panties on her I gave up with it. I thought maybe she wasnt ready. Any suggestions?

I mean I have seen those leashes but I have never seen anyone use them. I think it is terrible and it looks trashy. Come on that is terrible to do to some! Anyone agree?? -Happy Hoildays!

My son has just started having tantrums and I'm SO frustrated. He's 4-1/2 and has never done this before. I'm a stay at home mom, so he gets all my attention during the day, but it never seems like enough! I've tried everything - time outs, rewarding good behavior, ignoring bad behavior, spending MORE time with him, giving him more time to play by himself - but I think I've finally reached the end of my rope. I can't take him anywhere without having a major tantrum on my hands, and I hate to say it, but tantrums are embarrasing. I'm 2-1/2 months pregnant, so I know that's compounding MY emotions, but could it also have something to do with the newly begun tantrums from my son? He knows about the new baby. Either way, how can I get my well behaved, even tempered child back? What should I do when he throws a tantrum? Experts say ignore it, but that's hard to do when we're out of the house. Any help would make my day.

He already knows what potty means, and when asked if he has to go, he'll go into the bathroom and sit on his potty chair. That's about as far as we've gone. I've read about many methods and all. I'm just not sure if it's too early for him or if it's the right time. Any advice would help! Thx.
