My heart goes out to you because I have been through it with 5 kids. There are organizations that can help. Try a neighborhood center, police department, churches, Salvation Army, sometimes college fraternities or sororities.Tell the priest at the church of your problem and maybe he can steer you in the right direction. GOOD LUCK AND YOU HAVE A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS. GOD BLESS YOU (and he will)

This is hard! Lots of people cannot afford to buy Christmas gifts and this is hard. Try to remember that Christmas is not all about gifts but is about the birth of Jesus and that there are inexpensive crafts that you can make. I would go to google and type in Christmas crafts. Also, there is Toys for Tots program where you can have a toy for your child for free for Christmas but not sure if you have to be the parent or legal guardian to participate? Are you the legal guardian? Is there a Goodwill or another thrift store where you live? Sometimes you can find good clothing or gifts for a low cost at one of these locations.

I would definately try the different organizations, and if nothing else I'd ask someone at the Office of Public Assistance or a family agency that helps kids. The Department of Health and Family services should be able to help you out.
