I used to babysit these two girls kayle and aubrey kayley was 3 and aubrey was 2, brian would often call aubrey retarted because she couldn't yet talk and I would yell at him for this. I babysat these girls on mothers day and the day afterwards the mother called and said that kayley said that my brother had stuffed a toy mouse in her privite and that I had found him and then started yelling at him. yesterday someone had called our house and said we may be investigated. there are so many things wrong with this story because she said that he nocked her down on the stairs. no children are allowed downstairs and we have a gate to make sure of it. second I did not see this so how could I yell at him for it. third I only left those girls alone long enough to go to the bathroom. forth we don't have a toy mouse.fifth shouldn't she have been sctatched or brused or would she have just lay there and let it happen. sixth wouldn't there have been noise. the 3 adults there would have helped her

I'm interested to know how others out there react when their babies (boys) begin to discover themselves and touch it and laugh during diaper changes. I don't stop my son, nor do I make a big deal out of it. But a lady at his daycare said she tells him "no" when he does that. I really don't agree with that. I'd like to hear people's opinions on this.

Nick is going to turn five this summer. ( early July)

He loves sports and we've done soccer. he is very interested in swiming and he's taken lessons for a while. He acually tried out swim team this summer, he's still a little too young and he had to quit. He was amazing it was just too much.

Tyler wants to start sports too,but he just turned three!! He's too young. What sports would you recamend for both of them that they would be able to do? Wouldn't be too much for mom who just had a baby ( me)? And, they don't even have to be like team they can be just.... Like things like playing tag in the park etc.

Also, Nick is starting K in the fall so he'll be busy with that and Tyler is starting Pre-school. Nick will most likely doing Fall soccer again.

Thanks so much for the help!!!

I am really worried how my 3yr old will take the news. He was really attached to the puppy.(My other son is 1yr old so I know he won't understand and would just be as happy with any puppy) Luckily they are away for the weekend with my sister and have no idea right now. I am going to wait until they get home on Sunday but what would be the best thing to tell him? Would it be a good idea just to go get a new puppy before they come home on Sunday? Would that make it easier?

A small part of my 5 yr old son's left eyelid has been slightly swollen most of the week but you can hardly tell unless you are close by him. I was just wondering since there are no mosquito bite marks what else it could be. His eye is not affected and doensn't itch or bother him...but the part thats slighly swollen has not changed since Tuesday. There is no oozing from his eye.

I want to raise my child disciplined and well-behaved NOW so when he gets older he'll won't be so spoiled and disobedient. I've noticed there are many toddlers that are more spoiled than others.

Does anyone know of any good sandal type shoes that will fit right, stay on while running and playing, not hurt my 2 1/2 year olds foot, etc ??? I can't seem to find anything like this-only tennis shoes but I would like to find something cooler and lighter for summer. ALSO I have a just-turned-one year old who is beginning to learn to walk so also interested in good shoes for her too for summer. She has a very fat foot and it is hard to find shoes to fit her. Thanks so much
