Today n court the judge decided that my son stay in the home and go for counseling & see a pschotherapist who i believe is pro dad and would probably ignore the childs signs of abuse help? my sons dad is claiming that i coached him to say that he was abused and i believe he will try to brainwash him preventing these proffessionals to help him and protect him from more sexual abuse.I feel like im dying inside and my spirit is crushed !!!! this man did not have any concern for this child until child support got on him. I told him i don't want his money i simply want my son. He works so much and puts child off on his mom(she's in the home)my son is not being watched becuz if he was my son would not have been abused. My son is afraid of dad n bro. Anyone know Dr. Suiter? in calif aka Dr.death. Im waiting for cps detectives and police reports now. Nobody is helping my son the "system sux" i have no support from family and i jus wanna cry!!!!! the molester is his 13 yr bro. help please?????

They want me to bring the children to visit and I don't think this is a good because it will traumatize the kids. I mean, if they are in there for years; I would consider it...but just a few months...give me a break. The kids are 4 years old & 16 months. I think thye are still young and will understand better if I just tell them they are staying with me for summer fun. Is this wrong on my behalf? Am I being selfish? Thanks for all the answers and please....no need to be rude. THANKS!

My son used to like certain baby foods like chicken noodle and now refuses to eat them. He only wants cheezits, baby animal crackers, some adult food and bottles. What can I do? Is he just going through a phase?

This is a serious question and I don't want any bullcrap answers because this is weird to me. Okay, my son is 2 and a half and potty training. On numerous occasions, when i let him go potty alone and he has been in there for a while i go in there to check on him and he is rubbing "it" on the rug. And it is hard...like hard that little kids shouldn't be getting. What is this? Is this normal? When he does it and I catch him he acts like I just caught him doing something he knows he's not supposed to be doing. I tell him that he needs to stop it and its nasty but to everyone else i talk to they say that he is just discovering it. Uh...I am weirded out!

My son is 2 years old. He has peed in his potty once, but wont do it anymore. He loves going in there to sit, but gets bored after about 30 seconds and gets up. And the bigger issue is he like to take his undies/diaper off and poop on his bedroom floor. I cant take it any more...its driving me insane!! My girls NEVER did this. Has anyone else ever dealt with this?? Any advice????

I have a five year old and three year old, and their bedtime is 8:00. We live overseas and I've noticed that whenever the neighbors see our kids at 7:30, they say, "Oh, you're still up?" 8:00 seems perfectly reasonable to me, so I'm chalking this up to cultural difference...

My son used to have baths in our kitchen sink but he started to started standing up and grabbing onto my shirt trying to pull himself out. I try to give him a bath in the bath tub but he freaks out and starts crying histerically flailing around and slipping while trying to get out of the tub. I don't know what to do with him. He hasn't had a bath in a couple of weeks - I wipe him down with a wet wipe everyday... But I really need some advice on how to help him take a bath. I tried toys but he doesn't care about them...and just wants out.

How often do you bathe your toddler? If you have a boy (I do) I am curious as to how you clean his private parts and how often? I have a 14 month old and he doesn't get baths everyday and I occasioanly clean his private parts with a wet wipe. How often should it be cleaned and should I pull back the skin to clean it? How far back (I very gently pull it back a very very small amount)?

I have read that there is a mobile called "kid connection mobile" which seems that under the ocean sounds, it says the phrase "i hate you". if you have this mobile, i suggest you remove it from your childs crib. This happened in 2003 and i just want to make sure that those poor infants are not being brainwashed by those horrid mobiles. check your mobiles.

The first time we did it she didn't like it, but my husband made a make shift bed rail and I think that scared her. We found a bed rail at a yard sale, but now I am wonder if we should just move her on to her full bed. Instead of the toddler bed. My husband thinks it is ridiculous to move her to the full size bed and she should go to a toddler bed. Which do you think would work better? She has a convertible bed which goes from a crib to a toddler bed to a full size bed.

of my five year old son. My son is extremely smart. He loves to draw and he draws in a lot of detail. Recently, he drew a storyboard and wrote a story to go with it, and he did it all himself. I was very surprised. Is this something that a normal 5 year old does or is this a little above average?

i must add at this point, that he is three and a half. in the last month, after a lot of training, my son can now go out, wearing pants, without my having to change wet trousers etc. he is confident enough to use a toilet to wee but he still needs the potty for doing a pooh, he can go at home,at his grandparents house and at play school, but he is absolutely terrified of public toilets. he went to a holiday club last week and he went to toilet 3 times on their big playing field - and he did both!
i feel bad because i believe that i haven't taught him properly, but i feel more for him, because it upsets him when he can't do a wee etc, wherever he is. today, he stood in the middle of the shopping centre and did a wee. i need to know how i can deal with this properly. the cleaner at the centre told me that most little ones are afraid of the toilets, because of the noisy hand-dryers. i understand this - he has always been scared of loud noises - he still doesn't like the vaccum cleaner!
