I just had my daughters second birthday party in the backyard last weekend. We bbq'd and could afford to feed everyone because we had it at home. I bought a little bouncy castle and Dora decorations and a pinata..the kids and parents had a blast

A park is really nice since its getting warm outside, or you could try having it a pizza place (not chuckie cheese..too many kids). We've had birthdays at pizza hut before...some pizza places have special rooms that you can reserve that are private so nobody will bother the party. They are big and have plenty of room for all the guests and they'll let you decorate it with your own decorations. Sometimes they even have discounts for when you have a large party. Anyway, hope that helps!

Anywhere but chuckie cheese. Too much chaos at once. I had my daughters birthday party there and assumed that we were the only party going on at that time. No there were like 6 other parties going on. Other kids were coming to our tables, touching her gifts and its just not cool. Do something where you can have just your group there and not worry about other groups children.

I just had my son's right in my backyard, it was a bit chilly out that year, but everyone had fun and all the kids got to run off all their energy. If you do not have a yard Mc Donalds would be fun, all of the playplaces I have been to have their own separate rooms so you can close the door and not have to worry about "losing" Any one's child. Remember they are only 2 years old, they are not going to remember it just do something cheap but fun. :)

Someplace cheap. They won't remember their second birthday party anyway and you would be wasting your money. A playground is a good place-you can cook up hot dogs for everyone and have chips and fruit to go with it. Very simple and inexpensive.

At home!
We just had our son's 2nd birthday right here at home. It was great. We do the same for our older daughter who is 12.
