my 4 yr old son says this man who is handicapped touched his private and made him touch his but he is smiling alittle when he says it. the man has been guilty for doing this before

Believe your son and report it to the authorities. Keep your son away from him.

Believe your child. I'm sure the man told him there was nothing wrong with this, so your son doesn't see it as being a problem. Most children that age don't think about touching someones "private parts" so where did the subject come from.
Also, handicapped or not he needs to be turned in.

Sit your son down and ask him again. If he starts to smile again then ask him to explain himself. Try and make him understand the seriousness of the matter (analogies always work best). The fact that the man is handicapped has nothing to do with it. No one should be allowed to act this way and likewise, no one should be falsely accussed of something like this. If you're not sure about what really happened then don't do anything yet. Keep an eye on this man and make sure your son is safe and kept in the company of responsible people who you trust. There's not much you can really do unless you have some sort of evidence. It's a tragic fact but it's true.

Well, ask yourself if your child has heard someone talk about this man doing it before? If that's the case he may just be saying it!!! BUT you have to go with your child and investigate b/c if he has done it before likely he will do it again! One question not to be rude but why leave your 4 year old w/ a man handicap or not who has been know to abuse children? Just wondering

First of all....i can't believe your question!! How can you not believe your son!? And why would you let some man be around your son if he has been convicted of child molestation before!!! It doesn't matter if he's handicapped or the president! Our jobs as mothers is to protect our children!
He may be smiling because he's embarrassed.....he's only four years old!!!!! He cannot possibly grasp what has happened to him!

First of all, children do lie about things....what they ate, who they saw and all kinds of stuff. With that said, when your child says something as serious as this, NEVER and I mean NEVER take it lightly. This person is not only handicapped but has been know to do this kind of thing....both of which should be red flags. Which brings me to my next question, why is your child around a known sex offender without your supervision? If you let your child near this person, you are asking for trouble. Could your son be lying, of course he could be lying, kids tell lies, but you should alert the athorities about this incident. Better safe than sorry.

Believe ur son and turn him into the police because he can be raping a kid or hurting a lil kid.You can also ask the man and if he done it and have him and ur son take a lie detector test.And the handicapped man could not really be handicapped he just dont wanna get in trouble.GOOD LUCK!!!

4 year olds don't lie about those types of things
Keep your boy away from him -- Most importantly, report it so no other kids get affected... Even if he is handicapped, he obviously knows what he's doing to your boy... Besides, he will have to register as a sex offender with his name and address in a public profile for the rest of his life.. So you will not only be helping your family, but many others in the long run will benefit from your report, too

If this man has been guilty of touching children before, WHAT THE HECK DID YOU ALLOW HIM AROUND YOUR CHILD FOR? Believe your son, turn the man into the police, and use more common sense next time!

Are you handicapped??!?! Keep your child away from this person and call the police! If your child isn't telling the truth, this would be a good lesson about why it's not ok to joke about this stuff.

your son is too young to know right from wrong and that is why he smiles. Girl get your baby away from this man and report this to the cops asap and take your baby to a doctor to get examined for rape, just in case. He may have done more than that to your child. This is big, don't let this man get away with this. If he has done it before why let your baby be around him?
