My 5 year old just lost her first tooth last night and woke up this morning with a fever of 102. I remember that she always had fever when she was teething, is it the same when adult teeth start to come in?

He is constantly pushing boundries, hitting, biting, screaming. He will be fine and then 1 minute later transformed into a screaming, kicking monster. We have tried time outs, talking to him, but most of the time he has the ability to just make us boil over. Any help would be appreciated.

I was thinking that it would be a good business idea to rent out my toddler playroom for an hourly rate for people to meet for playgroups. Would people actually pay for something like this? I'm thinking of people who live in small apartments or don't want to mess up their house - or something for kids to do when the weather isn't good for outside play.

I think I have tried almost everything. I have used the wet sensation pull ups. I have tried letting her wear underwear to get a feel of wet vs dry. I have let her sit on the potty to become comfortable with it. I also communicate with her about boo boo and pee pee and I tell her that it goes in the potty. I don't know what else to do. Please help!!!!!

I have a 3 year old and she will be 4 in decemeber. A lot of people are telling me to put her in preschool this year but I really think she can wait until next year. She knows her ABCs,colors, shapes, and can count to 15 so its not like she is going to be behind. I just don't want her to get tired of school at a young age.

I was just talking to my neighbor who is currently upset with some of the people on her husband's side of the family who kiss her toddler on the lips despiter her asking them not to. They tell her they've always done it in their family and they're not going to change. She thinks it's inappropriate and is also concerned about germs. I'm just curious what others think. Thanks!

she is the youngest of five and the only girl . I've been working with her for two years now, i've tried; bribbing, begging, time outs, reminding her every 30 min., going with her, letting her go on her own, letting her go with me. Doctors say she is fine.

what should i do about my little boy's incredibly hard to handle tantrums? we'll be at the supermaket and he will literally fall on the floor over a toy he cant have, and no matter how patient and understanding i am, he just wont stop! it happened yesterday and after 10 long minutes i finally lost it and carried him out. this happens everywhere and i can barely go to any place anymore, the park, his kindergarden, friend's houses, without feeling completely embarrassed! my best friend keeps telling me to take off his diaper and spank him hard on the bare butt, but i've seen her do it to her little girl once and i don't think it helps. her baby doesn't even HAVE tantrums usually and after the spanking she thew a fit.

so how i should i deal with this? i'm running out of options!

My 4 year old son is hitting, biting, kicking and pinching me. He seems to do it when I say something he doesn't agree with or when it is time to go somewhere. I discipline him when he does it but that seems to make it worse. I've tried time out and spanking. Is it just a phase?
