Check on the Sesame Workshop website. Sesame Street isn't always called the same thing in every country. For example, in Mexico we call it "Plaza Sesamo". Also, these shows are not bilingual as they are intended to be aired in their country of origin. I believe Sesame Street has a segment these days that introduces a new Spanish word every day. If you want to "introduce" your child to a language, then regular Sesame Street is fine as well as bilingual shows like Dora, Diego, or Maya and Miguel. But, if you want your child to actually "learn: and communicate in another language, try the Muffy series from the BBC. They are very sucessful and come in many languages, but are pretty expensive. Why make your child watch it? You can also get audio tapes for babies/ toddlers or bilingual music cd's for that age range. You can pick up some things and then be able to share y'all's new found multicultural knowledge. Good Luck!!!

Dora and Diego are good for Spanish, and seaseme street comes in spanish look on ebay. But there is a vidoe called moogaly or something like that teaches different lang. I understand your feelings, I want my kids to know spanish because it's almost like a second lang in our country now, so don't let people put you down for wanting to teach your child different langs. But don't forget to teach english too. lol. Good Luck.

forget the French, Spanish is the language to know. After she is fluent in Spanish you can try French however French is the language people in the30's,40's and 50's that people thought was elegant, sophisticated and useful for well travelled educated Americans. Not true anymore. Spanish and English are the necessary languages of the future.o online or call a bookstore.French is not necessary for menus in France anymore and at one time I was fluent inFrench.NOW I try to work onSpanish.

Try the Sesame Store. Here's the link, and if it doesn't work, just go to sesameworkshop.org and click on Sesame Store. I shop there sometimes, but I don't know if they have any spanish videos; I never had to look for them, but I don't see why they wouldn't, since they even promote Spanish in the regular videos. Good luck!

Why do you want to put that much on your child? Let her have a childhood. Let her master english first. It is possible to learn different languages later in life. I cant for the life of me figure out why parents want to pressure their children at a very young age to be overachievers. Book sense only goes so far, common sense goes farther sometimes..............
