We wnt cold turkey with our daughter, the first couple of days were not all that fun, but she never wanted it again. Let then help you get rid of them if you think they will understand that they need to go.

Cold turkey is the way to go. Replacing it with something a little more age appropriate will make it easier. When we got rid of our son's binky, we gave him a blankie. It was only at bedtime--the first night was awful, but he never asked for it again. Good luck!

Get her to throw it in the bin, that way she is the one who has thrown it out and when she asks for it you can tell her that she put it in the bin because she is a big girl now. Worked for my son.

Tell her that it will be gone in a few days, if you have a problem with her loosing them tell her that thats the last one and that once its gone its gone, keep reminding her that if she looses it thats it. Then once its lost thats it. Thats what i did with my son when he was 19 months and he asked for it once after it was gone and i told him that he'd lost it and thats all, he cried for a few mintes and went to sleep and that was it. He never asked for it again. He then rejected his bottle a few days later. What a bonus!!!

Good luck and i hope this helps

Do you mean pacifier? Just take it away, its as simple as that. You may need to put up with some crying for awhile but that will stop after awhile.

its hard but you may have to take it away get her something like a doll or stuffed dog. our son was so attached to his "panda" but it was falling apart to the point where it was unrepairable we took and put it up and gave something similar in size and cuddliness it took about a week but he is just as attached
