Look at his diet and work out if there is something there that could be giving him diarrhoea. Drinking too much juice or milk, or eating too much fruit like strawberries, grapes. I think a lot of stomach bugs are caused by tap water that sometimes may contain certain bacteria that will give you the runs.

Hydration is the key when it comes to diarreah. A lot of times people in general will get diarrhea because of not having enough water in their system because the bowels are regulated by hydration... so try some pedialite. Also try some apples, they are full of pectin a natural source of fiber. Some blackberry juice or a spoonfull of blackberry jam decreases the ammount of secretions from the intestinal lining therefore less poopoo---it's and Italian thing my greatgreatgrandma used to do. Hope this helps a bit...and of course if all else fails see your doc! Good luck!

It could be anything, as long as the doctor is keeping an eye on him and he is not dehydrating it's not too bad. Try increasing low fibre foods like potatoe and bread and decreasing high fibre food like fruit and pumpkin for a couple of days and see if that helps. Check and make sure he has not had any new food in his diet in the past few days that he may be reacting too.

Hope this helps.

It sounds like toddler diarrhoea that small children can often get just from eating the same sorts of food all the time, i would suggest trying to cut out all fat for a few days, no milk, cheese, butter all those sorts of things every time my son gets diarrhoea i do this and its gone within hours. I hope this helps!!!

Try some fiber rich foods. I am lucky my daughter loves veggies so it is pretty easy for me. Less fruit and NO juice or milk
