My 19 year old daughter started seeing this "boy" about 2 months ago but always had an excuse as to why we never met him. Thrusday we confronted her and found out that this "boy" just turned 36 on Friday. :( Her boyfriend is only 3 years younger then we are. There can be only 2 things someone our age is looking for from someone my daughters age. Either marriage or sex. I think she is too young and immature for either. Niether of them see anyhthng wrong with this, even though he has a daughter himself then is almost my daughters age. :( I know she is 19 but she still lives under my roof and I take care of ALL her expenses. They had a talk with us about this and THEY feel she is old enough, mature enough and independent enough to make her own decisions in life. Which I know is not true. If she was soo independent then I would not be her only means of living. And she is about as mature as my 10 year old. But I am afraid that if I put my foot down she will move out and in with him.

If you're taking the kids/nephews/nieces/etc. to the beach, what do you do to get sand out of their trunks and booty's after?

I've seen moms actually take their kid by the shower pull from behind their trunks and just clean right their with their hands.

How do others handle this?

How do you help them get it out?

My son is turning seventeen next week, and he has informed me of his decision to leave home. He is usually responsible and I'm sure he can provide for himself, but I'm not sure he has the right reasons to leave. I believe it's because my girlfriend Monique has recently moved in with us, and my son doesn't like or respect her, because my daughter told me this. Monique is a wonderful woman, and she tries very hard to get to know my children, but my two elders are still devoted to their mother. Should I convince my son to not leave home?

I have a 16 month old that wont walk yet!!! Its driving me crazy with both concern and fustration because I KNOW he could walk if he tried. The reason I know he can/could walk is that when me and his dad work with him we will hold on to him as he starts to walk and then let go. He will take a few steps on his own and then throw himself to the ground when he realizes he's walking by himself and say "NO!!!". I HAVE talked to his doctor who said to give him a little more time. It makes me so sad to see all these other little ones walking that are so much younger than him.

I have read that breastfed only babies do not get enough vitamin D through the breastmilk and require additional vitamin D. I also read on the le leche league website that It should be taken as a liquid because the prescription vitamin D would be too high of a dose. I need more information on what to take. anyhelp is appreciated.

Store are dangerous places with support beams, displays, people pushing buggies, children, etc.. I always seek kids flying through the aisles on these shoes with embedded skates on them. I've seen parents next to them so they know that their kids are doing it. Why do parents allow kids to endanger themselves and others by using these in stores? Why don't stores ban them? I would think that there would be a liability risk.

I am turned on by my g/f when she brushes against me in the pool with her bikini on. It also turns me on when she steps out of the bathroom with just a towel on. I am so happy when she falls asleep in my arms, it just feels so right. Is this normal or weird?? What turns you on??
I just love her gymnastics toned, surfing tanned body. Just holding her in my arms after she competes and is worried about placing is enough for me. Is it wrong to like to hold her after she competes?? I mean come on she's in a leotard. Should I not feel this way?? I love her personality too. It is perfect.
Parents, If you were at the meet, would you be mad that I was holding her?? Her coach gets mad b/c he says it is bad for her. Would you ever let your daughter do any of this??

just asking. is it that they don't want their child's imagination to develope? or perhaps they want their depth perception to be off? or is it to use as a babysitter? i can understand mabe a tiny bit of tv is ok if there r no commercials and is interactive, as long as the parent interacts with the child. but i've seen parents plop newborns right infront of that thing. do they think they can even understand what is happening?do they think it's healthy? i've seen people use it as a babysiitter for toddlers... all day. why have kids if u don't want to enjoy them?

just wonder. please don't say that is is a treat because if u care about what goes into ur childs' body u should know that is no treat at all. and please don't say that it is inexspensive because water is cheaper than soda and is far more beneficial. giving children these things forms addictions to bad sugars and will be a hard habit for them to kick later in life when their teeth are decaying, they have diabetes or they care for their health.
