My 12yr old boys want to sleep nude and be in there bedrooms nude should i let them?

As a parent, I understand your dilemma. Many people may say "It's their body, they should be able to sleep however they are comfortable" or "What goes on in their bedroom is their business" but as a parent, you have the responsibility to influence their development (ethics, morals and values). You have to make choices that you think are in the best interest of your kids. How you raise your children and what you allow your children to do is totally up to you.

Matrix said it all for me. But I do have another thing that worries me, is why do they want to sleep naked, it is too hot in their room? What is wrong with just sleeping in shorts. What is something happens at nite and you all have to come out of the house running, you will be in jammies, and your boys will be standing naked in the street. I just would not look good, what is the want to spend the nite somewhere else, or one of their pals spend the nite there, what then, will they all be naked? Sometimes parents have to have rules and I think like Matrix something should be taught along these lines. Good luck.

they are going to do it even if you don't approve.Be sure you knock before entering their room, it's not like you have never seen them nude.Respect their privacy.
If they have friends spend the night , that's a whole different story !
My friends 12 year old son was gang raped by three of his school mates every weekend when he had friends spend the night.This went on for several months.He claimed it was not a voluntary situation.
Ask your boy's not to do this while they have friends over.
