i want to know why most adults get accussed of being pedo's when underage kids use fake ages and fake profiles

An adult with adult desires usually don't get much interested in chat that involves potentially harmful or illegal activity. The adults that get accused of being "pedo's" are at worst predators and at best showing poor judgement.
Meeting anyone on the net for intimate reasons is generally a poor idea.

Its not just the ones going doing something wrong on purpose. Hell some of the people getting in trouble are in the wrong place and completely in the dark.

This is just as pathetic as people blaming internet sites or groups for kids coming on and lying about their ages. It seems to me the parents of kids should be spending more time stopping the kids from screwing around especially by lying and involving innocent people and less time going after the people that get in trouble or the sites they use when it comes out the kids lie.

I know a guy who spent a year in jail and is now on the sex offender list because he dated a girl that told him she was 18. (He was 21). She gets pregnant. Turns out she is 16. Parents press charges. He was tons of witness that say she was telling people she was 18. He gets convicted of Lewd Acts with a Minor. Scarred for life. Sad how our justice system works sometimes.

Yeah, I can see your point of view. I think that any guy who starts dating a girl should insist to meet her parents before they plan to get intimate. This way if they say no, they should know something is fishy and that perhaps her parents wouldn't approve.. and it could be because they are lying about their age. I know it sounds a bit formal but it sure beats a year in jail!
