Has anyone noticed all the pregnant teen girls? On here, and out there? We need to teach safe sex; not abstinence!! Teens will have sex; we can't stop nature!! Who agrees that preaching abstinence is unrealistic? I have three teen boys, FYI!!

Someone actually did this.. and i think it's funny. What do you think? Is Savage a dashing, respectable name? Or does Savage portray a hefty servant?

My three year old has been getting very hyper and very overwhelming when she gets tired. When she gets sleepy she'll start running around the house, throwing toys everywhere, screaming at her sister, and jumping on everything in site (even me). Does anyone else experience this with their children?

Ok, I think it is ok for the teacher to flex a little bit of mental muscle to help my child from misbehaving. He is a small problem in listening. But my wife thinks what the teacher said to him was wrong and she wants to talk to the principle. Living in the USA I think we become have become to sensitive to issues. I want to know what you think we should do?

Oh yeah, the teacher has 30 years of experience and my kids goes to one of the top kindergarten schools in the USA. The teacher also before told him that if he does not stop misbehaving he will go to jail.

they won't fall asleep in their beds, they prefer to fall asleep on the couch, the floor, in someones lap, or in mommy and daddy's bed. Is this normal? My ten month old got up at 2 in the morning only to fall asleep in the middle of the floor in the living room 5 minutes later when I was making her a bottle. Anyone else have this? Could there be something wrong with their room that they don't want to sleep in there? They seem to sleep better in every other room but their own.

My brother is 17, I am 24. I have custody of my brother because he got into trouble with the courts and could not live with my mom any more. He never got into trouble before this, but you only have to do something wrong once. Anyway, he is getting failing grades in class, and My rules are that you have to have at least c's. So today I went to his school and set up something they call "tracking sheets" This is where they have him take a paper to all of his classes every day and they say wether or not he has homework, and if he was on time, and how his behavior is in class. I am having him do this, due to his failing grades, then he brings it to me and I sign it, and he takes it back to school the next day, and he thinks that it is singling him out. He is mad. Did I do the right thing?

My three year old loves cars and construction toys. She'll play wth barbies and her favorite princess is Cinderella, but if you were to put a barbie and a car side by side she would grab the car. Is it confusing to let a little girl play with boys toys or is it too early for that to be a problem? I think it's fine for her to be interested in cars and fixing things, I was just trying to get some more input from other parents. I always seem to get strange looks when my daughter places her hot wheels on the counter at the store.

When my brother in law and his girlfriend lived near by my husband and I would go and visit, I would always find their kids drinking pepsis. Is this the norm, do other parents let their small children drink caffinated sodas? My three year old is allowed an occasional soda, but always sodas that are caffine free.

My daughter is walking now and i've moved back into my parents place until my new place is ready to be moved into but while im here my father owns a female rot thats about 4 or 5 years old and she walks around my daughter but one day when i was eating candy with my daughter she climbed off the couch and walked up to the dog and put her hand on the dogs head like i let her do when im watching and the dog got up and barked at her. it made her run off and cry and i clamed her down. but after that day i just didn't like the dog around her.My dad loves his grandchild and said if it came down to it he would sale his dog to protect my daughter from harm. stop something before it happens but i don't want him to have to sale his dog. maybe the dog smelled the candy and didn't like it? or maybe something else?don't know what do u think?

i have 2 children, one is 2 1/2 and the other is almost a year old. I feel very overwhelmed when it comes to taking on all the responsiblities when it comes to both of them. My husband and I have a major problem with what is fair when it comes to them. I feel like when hes home from work he should help out with cleaning up after dinner, baths, picking up the house. He feels like he gets no rest time, but either do I . When hes at work, I am going non stop with chores and my 2 girls. Then he gets home does his thing and rests.Fine with me. But how much time goes by before I should ask for help. Sometimes he will lay on the couch. Yea he associates with the girls, but I will be getting all frustrated because I will be cleaning, cooking, laundry, and the girls will be bugging me for attention, and he doesnt understand why Iam getting mad at him. Am I out of line by feeling like this? We cant seem to settle this dispute between us, and I keep pulling further away from him. PLEASE HELP!!

I recently found my self sitting in my jam smeared kitchen after a very long day with my kids [2 and 6 both boys} stareing at the pile of supper dishes, toys and other dabrea, wondering how this became my life.I am at stay at home mom and my husband is a truck driver so there for not home much. Any way during my bout of self pitty my mom calls, And ofcourse I start telling her my woes. She listened for a minit and then says"honey you should try it with five." witch got me thinking about when I was growing up. My mom Like wise stayed home while my dad worked{ alot as there were 7 mouths to feed} And all of a sudden I had this urge to call her back and aplogise for every late night spent up worrying, everything i had ever broken and everthing she had to miss out on for our sakes. What I would like to know is.. Has having children given you a new insight to your parents and why they did the things they did?

When my son was about a year and a half, i begin to notice things that were different about him. i have 2 other children so i thought i knew what to expect. He seemed to start talking later than my other kids, around 2, he would also talk in scary voices and when he was asleep he would talk in his sleep in those voices. he was always a hard to manage child, hard for me to keep a sitter for him. When he turned 4 he started pre k, they sent him home till he was placed on meds, after i got him on meds and returned him to school, they sent him home till he was placed in special ed. the principal even told me he had never saw a child like that... he has probs with anger, he suddenly strikes out, he has stabbed a child at school and my older daughter, he at one time told me that his shadow talked to him, i just worry that maybe what is really wrong isnt being treated.. Dx: ADHD, PDD, ODD, Boarderline Intellectual Functioning, and he has Migraines. Thanks!
