No, 'cause it's poison!! Drywall can contain Lead! Lead Poison!
You can get brain dead if you eat too many! Even paint on the drywall is poison! It's very toxic!

of course because drywall usually includes someone who likes construction which goes back to hammers and other sharp or blunt wepons, it wont hurt them they may not like the first taste of chalky substance but put your foot down and make them eat it all because they were the ones who picked it out so they would be wasting your money (or someone else's) if they didnt finish it!

Bio-degradable dry wall should not be a problem. Just pick out the chippings, splinters, mouldy & rot patches. Great if you intend to start a microbe farm ! Sheesh. Whoever said being eco friendly does not pay...

i would think not drywall has got to have some kind of something in it that is bad. so i would probably make them quit

One word for you:Pica. This is when they are lacking something in their diet and it needs to be taken care of. Take the child to the dr and tell him what is going on. Try to prevent the child from doing this and see what the dr says

my uncle used to eat the tips off of matches, and his mother called the dr about it and he said that there could be something lacking in his system that is in the matches and not to worry too much about it, that eventually he would stop... could be one in the same??
