My wife died 7 years ago.We had a daughter Madeline(age 7)and a son Jeremy(age 2).A few years ago I married again. My new wife had 3 kids. Now the children are Charles(15),Madeline(14),Rose(12),Jeremy(9) and Alison(7).They all get on really well with each others.A few days ago I caught Charles and Madeline kissing and touching each other in Madeline's room(the girls share one room and the boys share another).According to law they are brother and sister but actually they don't have common parents.I asked them and they told me they love each-other and they have the right to be a boyfriend and a girlfriend.Anyway I don't know how should I react.I think it's wrong but can I prevent it somehow?Or maybe they will like eahc-othe for a few months and then will stop?Tell me what do you think.

I don't know if it's just an attention getter or if there is something else going on.Please don't be rude about this.I make him take a shower every day,but I don't want him to be made fun of at school. This is a problem that recently started,as far as I know.

I asked my question in the other part of HERE but nobody answered so I'm asking you, even though this is for 'parenting and pregnancy'.I'm 16 and my sister is 19.She has a boyfriend(Mike) and lives in his house.Mike's mother Jamie lives with them. She is a very good person and she feels a lot younger than she is:)She is 47.We two get on well with each-other(I went in their house for a few weeks) and I asked her if I could call her without the title "aunt",she said it's OK and now I call her Jamie, but I don't know if it's right to call her without the title. What do you think?

A year ago, my sister inlaw was molested. Her parents didn't believe her. So her brother and I called in social services. Here, today over a year later the verdict is in, he was charged with three accounts of Sexual misconduct with a child and accepted a plea bargain! He only got 200 days in Jail but he has to become a registered sex offender now as well plus pay a hefty fine. I am so HAPPY that something was done I had to shout it out to the world. 200 days isn't enough in my opinion but at least something was done! GOD BLESS OUR CHILDREN!!!!! I know parents out there understand where I am coming from! I have a 3 year old and one due in a couple weeks. I would do ANYTHING to protect them!

I have been with my partner for nearly 3 years and he has a 9 year old son. He idolises his Mum but she is never around and doesn't come to visit.

I would just like some advice on how to deal with having a 9 year old around and I guess getting used to it.

Kindly explain why too. So, maybe I could just stop my brothers from watching that show. I'm 16, so I have less reservation on shows now. Thanks much.

i'm not sure how i feel about having another baby. well, that's a given because i have a 6 month old. how long did you wait before having more and being ready for it? what is a good amount of time to wait before a second child when it comes to finances? i think i would like my daughter to have a sibling, not in the near near future, but when should i start seriously thinking about this?

This is not a Miss America question but a serious question as to what a single african american parent can do to pull herself and children up and away from poverty's clutches. I know the typical senerio education, working, better jobs but how can you also do this when these barriers (such as affordable child care) are what keeps you from these things?

earlier today i asked what should i do about a mom at my bus stop that is alwayz screaming at her kids (she has 2 sons and 1 daughter all in jr high)and making them cry(2day she made her youngest son cry b/c she called him pathetic and a retard b/c he tripped and droped his books.and she threatened to 'knock' his f ing head off)and alot of ppl answered that i should go to the school principle.but we dont go to the same school.so i planed on calling a child abuse hotline to c if they could send someone over 2 thier home 2 check things out. but im still not sure if thats the best thing to do?

Do you think that an only child is at a disadvantage socially with not having any siblings? Whay do people tell me all the time that I can't let my daughter be an only child? I'm very happy with my one and only, but I still have occasional second thoughts. Mostly for her sake, not because I want another child.

I think my sister is a bad mother, but tell me if I'm being to judge mental?
shes going to be 35 yrs old shes married, already has a 9 yr old girl and a 7 yr old girl, she just had a baby boy 2 months ago.
Every since she had kids she always screams and yells at them , curses. Calls them names , sometimes hit them on there head, so does there father. But im not saying thats all they do to them, they are nice to them on and off.
Since shes had her baby whenever he cries she complains " i cant keep picking you up you need to learn"
this is what shes telling a 2 month old baby
Im 19 , but i know better not to talk like that to kids.
I live with my sister ,, after my mom died when i was 8
But it just makes me cry everytime there mean to the girls. And then when my sister is home with the baby shes keeps complaining about him (stuff that all newborns do)
Am i overreacting?
I just think her patients stinks and she should be a mother again if she couldnt even handle the 2 girls she already has
