Darling there is nothing wrong with you son..some kids do and some dont..all he needs is patience from his parents..Just dont make a fuss when he does..when he dosnt give him lots of praise..and if he does again just say to him "never mind mate, next time..Sit him down and have a heart to heart with him..teach him that when he has an accident he must strip the bed, have a shower then help remake it..always remember priase..My son was 10 when he stopped it everynight, but every now and then he has an accident, but I never make a fuss..Good luck mate..

Be sure and be very patient with him, no punishing or yelling. As you may know, kids who wet the bed at six don't mean to, and the fact that they do can make them feel embarrassed or ashamed or inferior. I had two sons who wet even later than that, and one really developed emotional problems even though we didn't scold him.

has he ever been dry at night for more than one or two nights in a row?
if not, he's probably not genetically capable. there is a gene that many people have which makes it such that they will only be dry at night after age 12 or so - it's about deepness of sleep and size of bladder. because it's genetic, it does run in families - it is typical that not every kid in a sibling group has it, but there will be other relatives - uncles, aunts, cousins, who do. Not all families will talk about that because of the stigma, unfortunately.
be nice to him, don't even mention it, if you've mentioned it negatively, apologize to him and others and explain what you've learned. get him pullups for nighttime and just be grateful there are pullups.
if he was dry at night for many months and is now wetting, contact the doctor.

properly firstly, you're good to no longer punish him or maybe desiring him to sense like he's being punished. he's clearly attempting and having injuries bothers him so any punishments would be counter effective. I advise a sticky label calender. you may get a miles less costly calender and p.c.. of stickers for purely some dollars. He can p.c.. them out. each and every night he continues to be dry he gets to place a sticky label on the calender. If he continues to be dry 7 days in a row he is going to Mcd's or everywhere he likes.

Some children just take time, try not to make a big deal about it or embarrass him. Get the huggies good nights nappy things for him because the more pressure you put on him about it the more stressed he will be and the longer it will last!!!

it is normal for him, just let him drink less water 2 hour before going to bed and take him to the toilet to let him "drain". It will take some time before he will learn it. Dont worry

Take him to a doctor if he does it almost everynight.
If it is occasional then be patient.
He might have a bladder problem, weak muscles etc. There is a reason for this.
