so i got rear ended yesterday. the guy bumped my car pretty good, but it didnt do anything to it. is it normal to be sore even if it didnt hit that hard? my back is sore, and i'm wondering if it's normal and im being praniod, or if i need to go get checked out. about 4 weeks ago i spent the night in the hospital for pre-term contractions and it started out as just plain back pain. should i wait another day to see if this is just stiffness from the wreck? my legs are also really tired...like i've been walking on them all day, but i havent. I have also been working nights and havent got much sleep during the day. could this be a factor? could all of this be normal? i have an appointment thursday.

Hi...I had my baby two weeks ago and I tore upwards toward my urethral opening instead of a normal perineal tear. I was just wondering how long would it take to heal...I had 2 stitches and I'm not having any real pain..just a little mild discomfort. Also, is it absolutely necessary to wait the full 6 weeks before having sex again? Thanks.

My baby was borned in October 19 and now nearly 1 and half months. These few days, I noticed his **** very smelly. I just wonder whether this is a sign of indigestion or stomach upset? He does not have constipation so far. Can anyone tell me if you ever come across this matter.

well a few weeks ago i had sex unprotected with this one boy and i had sex with a nother boy protected. i think i am just in denial but ive been having nausea, vomitting, tiredness, constipation, always having to pee and maybe it is streesed. though the boy i had sex with was only for like 3 mins and he wanted to stop and he made a joke saying he came thats why he stopped and idk wat to do. and the other boy i had sex with was for like 50mins and mybe the condom could have gotten weak in that amount of time. i had my period about a week or two ago though i am still having these sypmtons. do you think the possibility of being pregant is slim?

to be open in oreder for the doctor to feel the head...
im 35 weeks and i am dialated 1 and they say cervix is real thin so im hoping to go soon !!! this is my third!! anyways i was just wondering because i see all these other Q&A's and people are saying that they are not dialated but the doct can still feel the babies head.. i thought you have to be dialated to feel anything like that. and in order for the baby to come dont you have to dialate all the way to 10? if so then if they can feel the baby's head doesnt that mean labor is close or something?

One of my best friends for 10 years is seriously talking about starting up d-- rugs, ec-- stasy (sorry, got to put in spaces) to be specific. She has smoked pot before, and drinks fairly often, but somehow this scares me more than before. She has friends that want her to have it, and she really believes she "won't get hooked." She also wants a high since she has not had one in a while... She told all of this to me, and then another close friend while I was there. We are very very concerned about her, so we told a teacher we trusted very much. She says that she is going to help, tell the councelors to talk to her, and do whatever it takes to keep her away from them, while keeping us anonymous. She says she will eventually alert the family.
I feel horrible even though I've been told this is the right thing to do. Did I do this right, or did I betray her trust to tell someone??

A close friend, who I consider family, recently was blessed with two little boys just a year apart from each other. Her youngest son is happy and cuddly and doing very well. Her oldest son is 2 years old, hes amazing and Im very close with him. After spending our lives around children, however, my mother and myself have been noticing that this little boy is different somehow. I have background in child psychology and my mother is a pediatric nurse, so we both spotted some of the early signs of Autism about ten months ago.

Now, after celebrating his 2nd birthday, he still doesnt speak, he doesnt interact with others, and it's breaking my heart. How do I tell my friend about my concerns for her son?? I cry about it because I know she will be devastated, but I know early diagnosis is crucial. Regardless of the outcome, our family will love and support her and her little ones forever. They're a big part of our lives, so whats the best way to help them? Any advice???

I'm afraid of spiders, grasshopers, beetles and any thing with more legs than me that creeps around. Can I hurt my baby or cause a mc by screaming and freaking out on these things all the time? I'm in my first trimester.

Okay so I'm going to keep asking TONS of labor questions until it actually hits.. so those of you who constantly answer my questions, thanks and please just humor me.. lol. Okay, two days ago I started having diarrhea and it just stopped today.. My appitite has been way weird. At times I feel like eating everything in the house and others I feel like I never want to eat again. I sorta feel like right before you get your period.. just heavy and kinda gross. and achy.. As far as I can tell, I'm not having BH contractions. But I'm not really sure what they are, so idk. But anyway, all day today, all i've wanted to do is sleep. I feel like I'm resting up for something. Like I haven't slept in ages. While its true I don't get TONS of sleep at night, I get atleast 6-8 hours, so I don't know why I'm so tired. So I was wondering if it's my body "resting up" for labor. Does this mean labor is fast approaching? Do any of you have similar experiences?

It hurt so much! But I can't stop laughing at the faces of my boys!! The looks said it all!! Mummy is an idiot!!

Have you lovely people ever done something as stupid as me??

Ok, so I started my monthly the end of November, and totally finished with it on Saturday, Dec. 1st. Sunday night I had intercourse with my Fiance and the condom broke. We didn't realize it right away, but did before he had orgasmed. He pulled out, put a new condom on and then we finished.

I shouldn't be ovulating, and it was only precum involved. I have a child now, so my cervix opening is larger due to that. Also, we got pregnant the very first time we ever had intercourse unprotected... so I'm guessing he has super sperm and I'm fertile myrtle!

Anybody know what the chances are of me being pregnant? I *KNOW* there's *ALWAYS* a chance, but does anyone know how MUCH of a chance? Is it unlikely, semi-possible, possible, really possible...? 10%, 20%, 50% ???

My 9 yr old daughter has been out of diapers since she was 3, for the past few weeks she has mentioned to me that she wants to start wearing diapers again and she wants to be treated like a baby. When i asked her why, she said it will make her feel better. I wasnt so sure about it at first, but now i am starting to get to the point where im thinking about her happiness. I dont feel it would be child abuse, she wants this. Too many parents out there dont let their kids do things, cause they are afraid of how they will look. Any advice?

Hi all, my BF has a 24 month old girl. She lives with her mother and he has her Thursday thru Sunday. This little girl has not sleep schedule what so every. It just ridiculous.

Now here's the thing. She is currently in day care. We are not sure when she naps during the day there or if she evens takes a nap. But what we have realzied is that everyday between 5 and 7 she takes a NAP. Then she wakes up and is up until 3 sometimes 4/5 o'clock in the morning, then goes to sleep and wakes up around 10am. Now I've tried to tell my BF that she needs a sleep schedule and that it needs to be inforced at both house holds. Cause if he does it and his baby mama doesn't, its not going to work.

It like he really isn't serious about, but then complains when he doesn't get enough sleep cause she wakes up early.

I've told him that she needs to nap around 12:30p or 1p and sleep for about 1 to 2 hours and then get her up, that way she can go back to sleep around 7 or 8.

More to come

I am 20 and my boyfriend is also 20. We've been together for 3 years now. I'm a college student/server at a resturant. I took 2 pregnancy test that came back positive. How do i tell my boyfriend i'm pregnant? About a year ago i thought i was pregnanct and my boyfriend said if i was he wanted me to get an abortion because we weren't ready to have a baby. Well Now it's a year later and i am pregnant. I'm really nervous about telling him because i don't want to have an abortion, and i'm afraid he will want me to get one. What to do? Oh and i was on medicine that counteracted with my birth control, so thats how my pregnancy happened.

My eight year old is going through a really difficult phase right now. He has become so stubborn that he will not listen to reason from me or anyone else for that matter. I don't know why this has suddenly become the case, but even last night at tae kwon do, when the instructor broke the kids into groups, he refused to go into the one he belonged in. He stood with the kids who he felt he belonged with and when I tried to correct him, he told me I was wrong. This resulted in a time out given by the instructor, and when he was let back up he went to the very same group. I ended up taking him home and putting him straight to bed with no supper (a first for him). Today I opened his backpack and found a write up from school. He refused to listen to a teacher and got sent to the principal. I've now told him that Christmas is a time when kids get rewarded for their good behavior by receiving presents and that he's in danger of getting nothing. Is this wrong?
