A few weeks ago my friends girlfriend said "what IF you do get pregnant, by some chance"? I thought how could I deal with it-seriously? I don't like kids, or babies.. unless they are calm and don't cry.

Were you happy after having a child? Do you think my dislike of children will change?

I just need a heads up. My fiance and I do want kids some day.

Our 15 year old son is smart, funny and charming. As far as we know, he's open with us and will ask us any questions that are on his mind, including the awkward ones. He has a lot of friends that we like too. They appear very responsible and respectful to us. They are all on the honor roll but he's not. In fact, he failed four out of seven classes this last marking period. He loves sports and spends a lot of time researching players, statistics, etc. If he would spend that kind of time on his school work, failure would not be an issue. What can we do to get him more interested in school work?

i had a period 30.7.07 and found out i was pregnany 10th sept i had a scan on 20th which said i was only 5 weeks (as my cycles vary), i miscarried that time and recently discovered im pregnant again, i have a scan 11th dec but im scared im too early to see anything on it. my last period was 27th oct and i only discovered i was pregnant 3rd dec. many weeks do you think i am? considering the fact the docs got it wrong last time coz of my cycle. what should i be eating/drinking during this time and any tips?

im 20 years old and i would say im 5'4. im really short for a dude. everybody makes fun of me cause im short. but not in a mean way thought. i dont cry or what ever. i just look and laugh. i just want to know if anybody knows if i will grow any taller. my dad is like 5'11 my mom is 5'8 my brother has to be around 5'12 and he is 15, he be looking down on me plzz help

My son is turning 18month the end of december ,he isonly saying few words(mama dada and nana) thats it ,when we call him he never answers us or look at us he always ignores everything around him ,if i ask him to do something like throw something in the trash ,give me something or just come here he just ignores me ,and one more thing he loves little details but everything around him is like non existing and i know 5 kids that are his age and they don't act like that, i have talked to his doc and he mentioned autism which i have been reading about and doing researches since he was 1.
I just wanted to know if there are mothers out there that have the same worries about their kids and what the doctors told you about it .

I'm currently 22 weeks pregnant & I'm 152 pounds already.

My fiance is 18 & will graduate hs in may 08, i graduated may 07. our baby is due may 6 2008. my problem is this. hes a good guy, would do nething for me. and now he wants to go to wyoming to a diesel mechanic skool(welive in texas) i dont want him to go. if he goes he'll leave june 26, 2008. the drive here to there is 13hrs. he says hell come home every OTHER weekend. but by the time he drives 13hrs here and back the weekend will be pretty much over with. the school is 9months long. and i know in the long run itl be a good thing bc hell make good money. but i dont wanna be away from him for 9months nor do i want him to be out of my babys life that long. what should i do? should i just let him go and do what he wants to do, or try to convince him not to. i love him and my unborn baby more than anyone else in the world...and i just want to do whats best for our futures, and make us all happy.

any advice would be helpful.

looking through the questions posted, how many do we need on Could i be pregnant? Did you show at such and such weeks? I thought thats what doctors and midwives were for.

ok...so I just gave birth literally 4 weeks ago I was told by the dr. not to have sex for the next 6 weeks. problem is my husband is starting to feel neglected, even went so far as to say that men who are not married have the best sex and are so much better off than married men! then he went on to say that my ex boyfriend probably never had to deal with me not satisfying him (my exboyfriend).
Is this normal for husbands to feel neglected? Don't get me wrong, four days after delivering I went down on him, actually I've done that about 4 times since delivering.
So what the hell?! Are men that inconsiderate?
He's at a point where he saying he never wants to have sex with me b/c " i'm like most women who have babies; they stop having sex'
What do you suggest I do? It's not like I don't want to have sex, of course I do; I just can't!

I am nearly 29 weeks pregnant, now i have come to the conclusion my baby is lazy because he doesnt move much at all, and at every appointment they tell me everything seems good althought i havent been for scan since i was 20 weeks. They just check his heart beat and every time they say he is quite happy in there because he has a strong heatbeat.

Lately he is much lazier than usual, i think today i have only felt him move about 5 times. I have a feotal heart monitor so i have checked him and i found his heart beat and like usual it is strong but i would have thought his movements by now would be stronger and more often instead of less.

Has anyone had this and had a healthy baby? Just the other night i had a dream that i had him early and he wasnt breathing or moving. He really doesnt move much.

this would be my discharge, im pregnant and im not sure if its normal becuase it sometimes changes from time to time is it just hormones thats messing with it or what?
sometimes its somewhat watery and white
sometimes its mucusy and white
sometimes its mucusy white with a yellow tint

hug the giant christmas tree in the middle of the shopping centre (its humungous!)

get everyone in your group to try on oversized bras


stuff like that which is funny but not too disruptive

I am 15 weeks, and I always seem to be tired, I am taking my prenatal vitamins, but I could sleep all day (if i didn't have my son and husband to bug me!!) I am getting a little better, I was so tired in my first trimester, but i still don't feel like i have any energy. I also get mad so easy, its not even that i get mad, i am just in a bad mood for no reason, i catch myself, and try to reason things out, but most of the time i do it and don't mean to. It always seems to be toward my husband too, who does everything since he is out of work for an injury. I know its probably cuz of hormones, but is there anyway to help it? I hate being in a bad mood all the time. The last 3 weeks I have also been so stressed out. I am having problems with my landlords changing there minds about kicking us out every time we talk to them, and we know that they legally can't just kick us out and they have to go through a process, but it still worries me because we don’t know when they are actually goin to go through with what they say. I have started getting a massage once a week, and talking to my sister in law, that seems to really help, but how bad can it get for my pregnancy if I am too stressed out? I have been having trouble eating, I was sick during my 3rd and 4th month with my son too, so its nothing new, but I am never hungry and when I do eat I throw it up. What advice do you have for me, I have an appointment to see my dr, and I am goin to tell her and see what she has to say, but I want to get some advice from someone who has gone through this. Thank you
