ok...so I just gave birth literally 4 weeks ago I was told by the dr. not to have sex for the next 6 weeks. problem is my husband is starting to feel neglected, even went so far as to say that men who are not married have the best sex and are so much better off than married men! then he went on to say that my ex boyfriend probably never had to deal with me not satisfying him (my exboyfriend).
Is this normal for husbands to feel neglected? Don't get me wrong, four days after delivering I went down on him, actually I've done that about 4 times since delivering.
So what the hell?! Are men that inconsiderate?
He's at a point where he saying he never wants to have sex with me b/c " i'm like most women who have babies; they stop having sex'
What do you suggest I do? It's not like I don't want to have sex, of course I do; I just can't!

First, I would point out that your doctor said you should not have sex until 6 weeks postpartum. If he's causing you issues now, tell him to take it up with your doctor. If you have sex now, it WILL hurt. Trust me. I caved at 3 weeks, and I was oh so sore. You should let your husband know that you are very tender and not yet healed from delivering a baby. If he argues, simply ignore him because he ignored you. You are sorry, but there is nothing you can do about it.

Of course, you could always try rubbing salt in a fresh wound of his ;) Only joking, of course!

hi I am 17 weeks pregnant and my hubby and i rarely have sex anymore maybe once a week becasue I don't feel like it I still have morning sickness but my hubby would never ever say that to me because he knows he would get a slap up the head literally. I think that your fiance Is selfish and this time is about admiring the little person that you two created not about getting his rocks off. If he can not wait two weeks then there is something wrong with him. But I would definitely suggest waiting the 2 more weeks becasue you can get all sorts of infections after you have a baby and they aren't pleasant and they will leave you out of action for longer then 2 weeks. Just try andenjoy your baby and if he can not respect how youare feeling then he is not worth your time.
Congrats on baby I wish you all the best

Yes it is normal. But, hey you just delivered a baby it wouldn't be a good idea to have sex. Then again i have heard about people only waiting 3 weeks instead of the full 6. I guess it all depends on how comfortable you are doing it so soon after having a baby and also if you feel healed down there.

LOL! I'm pregnant w/ #2 and not in the mood. I just asked my OB what I could do to increase my sex drive and she told me nothing and that she doesn't want me having too much sex because orgasms can lead to early delivery. That's the greatest excuse ever. I told my husband he has two hands and he can use them. After my 1st, I tore really bad and we had to wait 8 weeks (actually longer because I was terrified) before having sex. Flavored accessories helped him get satisfied and I told him it's either this or nothing. Sometimes I will only give him a hand-job and say be thankful for getting at least this. He's doing a pretty good job of putting up with me. I keep reminding him that I haven't hit my peak yet and to be ready for when I do. I think he's beyond ready. LOL! Good luck!

I'm pregnant and my fiance wants it a lot when I don't, but he doesn't whine and b*tch like a child like that when he doesn't get any. He just says ok, that he understands. Why would your husband say something so rude like that? Tell him to go beat off, or try carrying a baby for 9 months himself! He's a man- does his new baby whine as much as he does?

And no not all men are that inconsiderate...just the ones who never grew up. Congrats on having your baby.

well hunie, tell him to stop thinking about him self. this is your body and you will do what you like, tell him not to complain because it could be worse then this, and also he had no right to bring your ex boyfriend into this in the first place. i find it funny that soooo many men happen to do that, i find it wrong, also ask him how would you like it if he just pushed out a baby out of his tight whole, and after you are bleeding for 6 weeks and someone wanted to have sex with him? he needs to be asked that, then maybe he might understand why you are the way you are. good luck. stand your ground

Coming from a married man of 25, I would ask him if there was anything that you could do to help him feel more satisfied. Let him know that the doctor has told you not to have sex for 6 weeks, but you still want him to be satisfied. (Stay within your comfort, but maybe perform fellatio more often)

Also, let him know that it hurt your feelings bringing up your ex. That was just wrong.

Love the problem/ plot idea although the first 2 sentences throw me off. do not use such an excellent style of adjectives so close at the same time, spread them out. examine over a number of your sentences they look somewhat user-friendly. The wording is slightly off. yet different then those little hiccups this is a touch sturdy tale.

wow...does he understand that you cant bc it can cause alot of infections for you....if it were me i wouldnt even do what you have honestly. i would have him call your dr to find out exactly why you cant and maybe he will understand he only has to wait a couple more weeks...and id play the card if you truely care about me then you will wait....

Tell him you can't, it hurts too much and its dangerous for infections etc. Maybe buy him a porno movie or give him oral. If he still complains, tell him to get over himself.
