OK so I had 2 ovulation tests left from a while ago... my doc told me they were a waste of money so I stop using them. I have PCOS and my doc said the reason we have been unsuccessful is beacause I'm not ovulating. This is my first month taking Femara and I felt like I was getting sharp pains yesterday (today is day 14 and my cycle is 28 days) so I thought maybe I would take one of the OPKs this morning. (When I was taking them I NEVER saw one turn out positive.) Well it had a faint line.... however, the instructions say that the line has to be the same color or darker than the control window.... it also says having PCOS can effect the results?! I was just wondering if anyone has had that... what is means? Does it maybe mean that I already did ovulate? Or maybe that I am going to just not in the next 24-48 hours!? Thanks in advance ladies!

I have had two miscarriages....both at about 4 weeks. I have heard many stories of early miscarriages from 6-8 weeks....why are mine so early...the dr. said that my prog. levels were 19.4 (apparently that is ok)....any thoughts for a future pregnancy?

For all the people on here to say let the kids stay with there birth mom and dads. Well, just a couple of weeks ago( this was in yesterdays paper in the town i live in) a mom and dad said to the judge that they think they have done well enough in there classes to get there THREE year old daughter back. Som the judge looked to see what they have been doing and ok you can have her back as long as you still go to the classes. Well, in the paper and the news, they thought it was a good idea to beat this little THREE YEAR OLD and when they had killed her they hung her in the batheroom over the shower. How can you sit on here and say yes let the child stay in a home where they are going to get abused instead allowing these kids to go into a foster home and then be adopted??? This little girl did nothing but she had to die bc her parents beat her. I dont care how good they do, it goes to show that they do not change for the better. SO stop deing this kids a great home. GIE THEM A CHANCE!!!!!

My daughter will be 8 weeks old this week and she has been doing this cat napping thing for the last week. She NEVER sleeps longer than 20 minutes at a time. I have been adding it up on a chart I made and she is averaging ONLY 6-7 hours of sleep within a 24 hour period and of course ranging between 5-20 min at a time. My husband and I are so exhausted we cannot see straight! lol Just wondering if anyone has ever had this experience?

They can't have cough drops, or over the counter "cough" medicine anymore. I try and coax him to drink water, but that doesn't even really work. Can I use Vicks vapor rub on his nose/throat?
This is even hard because I can't always find a solution to stop by coughing tickle, so I'm really struggling to find a method that works for my son.
We already have a humidifier going in his room... I'm sure its helping, but not stopping the cough!

Our diaper champ has been awesome until about the last few weeks (our son is 11 months). It has now started to smell when we rotate it. I use the scented garbage bags, wiped it everywhere with clorox wipes when I changed it, and used some scented carpet stuff in the bottom that is for garbages too. What else can I do, any suggestions?

Why do women protest so much about breastfeeding in public? It really annoys me because they may feel they are doing a good job etc etc (heard it all before), but what they don't think about is what if parents haven't spoken to their young children about sex education and where baqbies come from yet this would distress a child to see this and force the parents into having to talk about it before their ready which just isnt fair. I think its all well and good that women breast feed if they choose to but is it absolutley necessary to actually get em out in public?Sometimes feel as though they do it because they feel in a way proud of it and want every one to see them do it and then winge if anyone remarks.i work in a shop at weekend where i fit childrens shoes, and it absolutley horrible when women come in and breastfeed because i have to be on my knees when i do fitting and theyr like in my face doing it its so unfair i jus dnt want to see that.Anyone agree?

How do you handle all the Santa Claus hype that is in TV shows, commercials, stores, daycare/school, etc.? How do you explain it to a 3 year old when others talk about Santa coming to their house but he is not "coming" to her house? Do you just explain he is not real and hope she doesnt ruin the surprise for others?

I dont need answers bashing me for not doing Santa. If you do Santa with your kids, I promise not to say anything unless you ask a question or for my opinion. I am NOT asking for your opinion about doing Santa so dont give it!

With my first kid I hemmorhaged and then bled every day for 10 months. side effect of the Depo shot. it still wasn't straightened out two years later when I got pregnant with my son. With my first boy i was done bleeding in a week and got my regular period three weeks later. After that it was extremely regular. Had baby number three almost 4 months ago. I know that I am not pregnant again, but I only had four days of spotting last month and tht's it. i should be starting any day now for this month. Is this anywhere near normal?

I have an 11 week old daughter. Due to problems w/ her GI tract, and a lot of visits to children's national hospital she was unable to breast feed and put on nutramigen. Now that her Dr. says she is able to tolerate breast milk (which we didn't think could happen, but happily now can.) I have VERY little milk coming out, but it's still there. I purchased a hospital grade pump. I am unable to pump @ work, but can once in the a.m. and a few times in the p.m. @ home. I tried to get her to latch and she just becomes frustrated due to her beign used to the bottle. I really want to supplement her formula and bring my milk back, but I think it's too late. I can't pump 8x a day, only 4, and she wont latch. If I continue to try to pump like I am doing do I have a chance, or am I wasting my time...

Why do some women listen to the boyfriends desire for them to have their baby when the father advises his grown daughter to not do it
The boyfriend refuses to work
Why do some mothers dont care if their grown child has many babies from different men. They say their child is grown and it not their business anymore if gets overheated by the arduous men who only want the pleasure
I say the child is grown and all the parent can do is advise. No more no less.
As far as the parent who dont care She should still care and try to give good advise to the adult child who gives baby after baby to these men who think women are made fore pleasure,

I wanted to thank everyone in TTC for your support for the last 9 months or so. I was really starting to get upset but then I read the answers on here and I would realize everything will happen when its suppose to. I didn't ask very many questions but I read questions that seemed exactly like the ones I wanted to ask and I saw all the answers that worked for the question. Good News is that yesterday I ended up in urgent care and found out that we are finally pregnant. We are so happy I want to say thanks for all your guys help and GOOD LUCK to all of you TTC! Muah!
