With my first kid I hemmorhaged and then bled every day for 10 months. side effect of the Depo shot. it still wasn't straightened out two years later when I got pregnant with my son. With my first boy i was done bleeding in a week and got my regular period three weeks later. After that it was extremely regular. Had baby number three almost 4 months ago. I know that I am not pregnant again, but I only had four days of spotting last month and tht's it. i should be starting any day now for this month. Is this anywhere near normal?

After delivery I bled for 10 weeks straight. My period came back very regular when my daughter was seven months old. I was nursing her exclusively.

It can take up to a year for your body's cycle to get back on track. Don't worry about it.

With my 1st, I bled for 5 weeks and then at 4 months started having periods again. I breastfed exclusively. I'm 20 weeks with #2 so I'll see how this one goes.

nicely.... it may take particularly a on a similar time as...... its is additionally at the back of schedule or very intermittent fairly in case you're breastfeeding. i could think of.... that as quickly as you concept you had your era.... its replaced into easily lochia(positioned up being pregnant bleeding).... that could come and bypass lower back various situations interior the 1st 3 months after having a toddler. Are you breastfeeding.... this could stop your era for various months and as much as over a year. whether no longer breastfeeding..... you could discover your cycle to become very unusual and or no longer even in any respect.... or merely experience recognizing. All of this is extremely common. even however you won't be having a prevalent cycle..... this would not recommend which you at the instant are not fertile. So in case you at the instant are not waiting to have yet another toddler..... ensure to get on start administration ASAP..... or talk your ideas which incorporate your OBGYN at your 6 week positioned up partum appt. unusual bleeding and ignored sessions are very consumer-friendly after being pregnant. yet once you're having unprotected intercourse..... regardless of a prevalent cycle.... there is mostly an excellent gamble of being pregnant. earlier getting on any start administration i could advise a being pregnant try..... to verify you at the instant are not pregnant. better of success to ya!

I think "normal" various for everyone. I breastfed my son and didn't start my period until he turned 7 months. It was normal I guess in that it lasted five days like it used to. But now I start every 30 days and it will last up to 6 days. But if you are concerned you should ask your doctor, they can tell you if it is normal or not.

only your body knows the answer to this one. everyones is different. it could be 2 mths it could be 6 yrs. my 1st took 6 yrs, 2nd abt 4 yrs and my 3rd was abt 9 mths. if on depo, it may not come back. because depo after a while if on it is to get rid of it. but noone can tell you for sure whn it will return. only your body knows when. and yes it is normal to just spot every now and then until it does return back.
