I'm still breast feeding so I can't tell you from personal experience, but my sister-in-law breastfed for 3 months before stopping and her breasts shrunk back down to pre-pregnancy size within a month or so. The same thing happened to my cousin after she breastfed for a year.

I have breastfed 3, and I started off pretty small (B cup). My cup size never really changed, but the fullness of my breast changed while I was pregnant and again while breastfeeding. Several months after I stopped BF, my breast really didn't change in size, but they weren't full and voluptuous anymore..they were really deflated feeling for the next couple of years. They eventually go back to my regular size, but it does take some time. :)

The go back down to your prepregnancy size, and sometimes even smaller. They feel empty and deflated for at least 6 months and then sort of get denser again (like before pregnancy). But they don't stay the same size as when you're nursing.... because they're not full of milk or enlarged milk ducts anymore.

I have breastfeed three babies and mine are tiny and completely awful! I wouldn't change the breastfeeding but I wish there was something other than implants I could do. Oh well....we are trying for #4 right now and I will breastfeed the next one. But they do shrink with each child I have found. I read somewhere that the fatty tissue doesn't replenish itself. I wish that were true of other places on my body!

Speaking as a breastfeeding momma who just weaned her 11 month old daughter about 2 weeks ago - my "girls" seem to be the same as before. Of course, they're not the wonderful boobs they were - when they were fully engorged, not that big, just back to normal, so far.

Everyone different. All through my first pregnancy I was a B cup until I fed then went up to a C up and stayed there. During my last pregnancy I went up to a D cup and am currently an E and still feeding - so who knows what will happen when I stop (daughter not yet 5 months!!)

are you pregnant? Are you breastfeeding? Are you neither?
Except in a few cases they always go back to the pre pregnancy size when you're done breast feeding. Some women have even smaller boobs, and still fewer have even bigger boobs than they started with.
WHen you're pregnant they'll be very big, when you're breast feeding they'll be bigger than you ever imagined possible.

I just stopped BF my 11 month old. They have gone down a little bit since then but definitely some since the early months of BF. Everyone is different but chances are they won't.

Well, everyone is different. But speaking from my experience, I breastfed my daughter up until she was 1 and my breasts actually grew. I love them, though.
