Stress isn't good for you or your baby. Try to relax by meditating and doing deep breathing exercises. This will help your blood pressure which some women have problems with when under stress.

While you're not going to transfer your fear of spiders to your child YET, the harm can actually come from the dump of stress chemicals into your body every time you have an episode. Not only for your unborn child, but for your own health, you should try to control the way you respond to bugs, and more importantly, as your child grows, don't let them see you respond like that. I don't know how far along you are, but the further you go into your pregnancy the more likely high stress situations can be to trigger early labor, and put the baby is a state of duress.

Yes,if you freak out there is tension, stress in your part.Dont scream.Just relax and be calm.Avoid stress because if there is too much tension the tendency of the brain is to release hormones that can cause contraction of the uterus.Better to rest and good luck.Congrats to your motherhood....

hey i share the same fears but it didn't cross my mind when i was pregnant when a fear changes your lifestyle and your thoughts that is when it goes from being a fear to being a phobia. nope you cant hurt the baby but don't overreact be careful not to injure yourself in mid panic.
