I watch a good friend's two little boys. The youngest is a little over 3 and I guess he started talking alot about 8 months ago. Up until last week he spoke fine for a 3 year old, but as of last week he started to stutter, A LOT. Almost every time he says a full sentence he stutters on one or two words. What could cause this? I realize that stuttering is no big deal and lots of people do it, but my confusion is that he was fine, ans now all of the sudden he stutters. Anyone else experience this? I would greatly appreciate some feedback, as well and any related web links you can refer me to.

Everytime I have my period, it's on a school day, and I end up light headed and cramping, sometimes I even throw up. I spend several hours in the nurses office, when I'm supposed to spend 15 minutes there. (THEY CALL IT THE SCHOOL CLINIC BUT NOONE TAKES CARE OF YOU,) I go to the school nurse every month. I was told several times to get back to class, but I was too sick 2 to go to the fifth floor, UP THE STAIRS. iT'S like noone shows you any sympathy. Anyways, I told my mom what the problem is and begged her for some birth control. She said no, so to avoid any problems, I came up with an Idea, to stay home when I'm on my period. I'm missing out on the pill (3 PERIODS A YEAR). It'd be so great if I shared a pill with someone.

Should I skip school when I'm on my period?

I am now 36 weeks pregnant and I felt my baby shaking or vibrating constantly for about 20 seconds.
It is NOT hiccups because I have experienced fetal hiccups and I have felt this shaking something very different and strange. It is also not the same as baby kicks nor punches because it feels like a seizure, reflex or something. I don’t know.

It was about 5am in the morning and the constant shaking woke me up. I felt it under my belly and I placed my hands deeply to really feel if it is the baby shaking and I can really feel that it's the baby shaking and it did not stop for about 20 seconds.

I talked about it with my doctor and midwife but I don't think they have heard the same thing with other pregnant women.

Has any pregnant women out there or who has experienced being pregnant ever experienced their unborn baby shake or vibrate constantly and for about 20 seconds or more?
If so, did your baby turn out fine?

I would really appreciate answers from any pregnant women.

My daughter is 7 going on 17 real quick. Her dad is in the Army and is not here alot of times. She gets real mouthy, has a bad attitude, and acts like she is all high and mighty. She has also informed me that she doesn't need school, because she already knows everything she needs too. What do I do with her????

I don't get it, everytime I'm too tired. to get up, I dont have the will to go to school, or if there isnt anything important to do, like projects and presentation I'd want stay home. I'm in 12th grade now, you can skip school anytime you want. But mother doesnt really get it. I told her that 12th graders are allowed to cut school, and they dont get in trouble. Why do you think there are senior skip days? I just want one day off from school. It's not like im gunna stay home every day, just a break from homework and tests.

What do you think?

If so what does it feel like? I heard it should be about as wide as an orange.

I understand reasons for people having their children adoptions bc of problems. or whatever their reason may be.

before i start to ask my question. i do NOT want to offend anyones feelings, or make anybody feel bad or anything. i was just wondering somthing tho......

i would be interested in adopting, of course not right now, but maybe in two years at least? and i heard about sum children who were adopted and was searching for their bio parents....
so heres my question...
if i were to adopt, could i tell the child where his or her parents are? or give them any info about them? im not adoptive, and i kno i dont understand how it feels, but i would feel bad to have info on their parents and not give it to them.

is it like against the law to give that information out or something?
bc if i become an adoptive parent, i wouldnt mind helping that child find info or give info on their parents. bc if were them, i would like to know too.

Our son is 5 months old and loves his daddy so much. He lights up when daddy is around and usually needs to be held and kissed by him for a couple minutes before he'll go to bed. Daddy can't hold a job. 34 years old and still loses his job every 30-60 days. We've been together going on 3 years and he's never held down a job. He got fired again yesterday after less than a month at his job. He was unemployed for most of my pregnancy and finally got a really good job a month before our son was due then quit the job 2 weeks after our son was born. He's had three jobs since then, all crappy and fired or quit all of them. We're going on our third crappy holiday season because he can't hold a job. I'm sooo tired of crying, worrying, being broke and not being able to pay the bills. I've tried to kick him out for a couple of years but he says he has nowhere to go, no money and we are a family and should stick together. I can't bear to hurt my son but what can I do?

I take care of my 2 nieces ages 1 yr. and 3yrs old, Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 5:30 pm, and by brother- in- law pays me $180.00/week and I feed and they go home well fed . I clean up after their mess and believe me they tear up my place it seem like a tornado hit and I have a daughter of my own she is 4 yrs old and she doesn't make me go through the things I go through when I take care of my nieces and it's a lot of work. So what do you think I should really be getting paid for either way? Here in Louisiana a daycare charges from $80 bucks to $100 bucks per child a week, but I put all my attention to them and not to so many kids like a daycare does.

Why are so many parents against spanking their children when they misbehave? Spanking does not have to equate to abuse. It is not a form of abuse. It is a form of discipline. For those of you who do not spank your children, what form of discipline do you use? Timeouts can only go so far. After a child learns that they can act up, get sent to the naughty corner for five or ten minutes, and go back to doing the same thing they were doing before – it’s pointless. They learn that there is a short punishment for their behavior. As they get older, taking things away from them (video games, phone, priviledges) doesn’t work. They get to a point to where they don’t care – especially teenagers. With some kids spanking doesn’t work all the time, but in a lot of cases it does.
