Just a general question to ask how long a baby takes to get over a cold usually...

Why is beer, milk, and practically every beverage out there cheaper than formula ?

Shouldn't it be cheaper than everything else since nourishing a baby is more important than anything else ?

I wanted to pet a rabbit but it scratched me and I got really mad so I hit it. its the same with cats. or our cat will always want to eat but I'm too busy to give her any food. mom gives her food anyway. the cat isnt my pet but I could still give her some food and caress her but no I neglect the cat.

I just wanna know the answer if am I for kids or not cause otherwise I will go for a vasectomy. I cant find the reason why I'm like this. I'm so shy that you wouldnt believe but I dont know how can I do these things. someone told me that I might be depressed but how can depression causes me to be lazy and violent? I thought depressed people are suicidal. or is it because I never experienced love? I really dont know how it is to be in love.

people around you always tell you how it is to have kids, that you should have kids, but if I already treat badly with pets, then I dont wanna let kids to suffer too. I'm just staying away from pets now and I'm fine. I'm gonna do the same for kids.

Well I just wanted to thank you all for being so supportive and answering all my questions :) I really appreciate all your help and support. After all this time Im finally pregnant and this time I didnt even expect it. I learned something very important " Even if you want something really bad, the only person who knows when the time is right is God". I am so thankful and so happy, But I do want to wish for all those people who have also been TTC for a long time, I will keep you all in my prayers :).

What girls name do you like better?.....
Isabella or Adalie
(Adalie is pronounced Ad-uh-lee)
specifically....
Isabella Adalie (Bella or Ella for short)
Adalie Isabelle/ Isabel or Adalie Belle (Addy for short)
I am tourn between Isabella or Adalie because I love both.

the father left, and I want to enrich his life, but I think they worry about us there. PLEASE give me suggestions on what to say to convince/persuade them it would benefit child to spend some time there in short increments.

I was adopted and just recently found my birthfather's family. He was killed in a car accident a year after my birth. No one knew about me in his family. I have now found out I have a half brother, but his mother took him away from the family as soon as my dad was killed and they were gone for 15 years. Now they say he has very little to do with the family and he took the last name of the man she married shortly after my dad passed away. I was raised an only child and would love the idea of having a brother, just not sure how it would go over. Any suggestions??

If I don't go into labor in the next week, my doctor will have to induce me right after Thanksgiving. I am terrified of the intense/fast contractions that pitocin can cause, and I need some ideas to help get this labor started NOW! I will try just about anything at this point. Any ideas?

Well, I couldn't do my homework within my time limits (I have after school activities) and my mom's payday is tomorrow. I can't go to the mall often (once every 4 months?) even though I live 15+ minutes away. Tomorrow's my school dance, and I need to get new jeans for it. If I don't, I'm screwed over. Trying to decide on baby names for a boy and a girl. I don't like names that necessarily "go together" such as Nathan & Natalie or rhyme, etc. I just like names that aren't heard too often, but are also not weird weird, and which preferably end with a consonant sound or long vowel sound because my last name is Adler ("A" as in "apple). My very favorite names so far are Josie (a nod to my father, the greatest man I've ever known, Joseph), and Kale (no, not like Kah-lay, but rhymes with sail). Any ideas for middle names that might flow and are also somewhat original? (No Marie- or Ann-type names) My taste also is in the liking of names such as Laci/Roxi/Madison or Jayden or Madden/Maddok/Maddox (which I don't really want to use because that's to much "A" sound in the name altogether)... Anyway. Any ideas at all? Thanks!

This guy named chris keeps telling everyone that he's going to ask me out, everyone sees thats it obvious too. He's been saying it for about a week and a half. He always does stuff with me and hugs me and tells me i love you, so i know he does like me. But like why won't he just ask already im tired of waiting. I like him so much but he's taking forever.

i have tried giving him those soft luncheon meats turkey, bologna, chicken...etc. i have tried giving him soft pieces of meat that he CAN eat, but he doesnt WANT to eat any meat at all. he spits it out or throws it on the floor. he does eat cheese and drinks milk. he also wont eat eggs, boiled or fried. so he mainly eats fruits and veggies and breads and cheeses. can he still be healthy without eating meat at all? also is it normal for toddlers not to like to eat meat? we are goin in for a doc checkup soon so i will be sure to ask the doc, but what do you guys think?

My 20 month old sprained her ankle and they put a splint on it (cast-like on the underside to stabilize, and then wrapped up all around) anyway, we kept it on for the alotted time, and i wound up taking it off to wash the ace bandage she had gotten dirty..she walked fine on it, where as before, she would take a step and cry. So, i left it off. today (a few days after having it off) We took her to the zoo.. for the first time i noticed her foot turned inward when she walked, more so when she ran... i mean really crooked. i hadnt noticed it before, and i'm pretty worried about it. I am going to take her to see the doctor, but im wondering if maybe its like that from being in the cast, or does it hurt her and she doest care to let me know, or what??? thanks for reading this

I love the name Elijah but there is something about the spelling that doesn't look right to me, along with the fact that I'd like my son to have the initials A.J. in honor of my late great grandfather, plus the fact that my BF's other two children from a previous relationship that he has custody of both have names that begin with "A" and I think its cute. (There aren't any other "A" names that I really like, anyway for a boy.) I was thinking about "Alijah" or "Aelijah", I even wrote them down on paper and they look fine to me but I'm curious as to what others might think. For a middle name, I want John, which is my father's name.

On the other hand, I like Adrynn Lily (sort of like Adrienne) or Audrynn Lilly for a girl, which also carry on the "A" series. Opinions?

So, with all that said, what do you think? Sorry if its too much, I just wanted to state my reasons for the weird spellings and such. I wasn't just popping these things right off the top of my head.

Im preg. with my first and lately i've been feeling super emotional, and i guess u could say anxious too. the dr. told me the baby could arrive sooner than expected but that it was okay, she also said he could arrive in about a week o two. and that was two weeks ago, and still hes not here. anybody else feeling like this?

I went to the ER to get looked at over the weekend and was give antibiotics for Mastitis. It seems to be still hurting but the redness is gone. I have a lump near my armpit that is sore, I try to massage it while breastfeeding. My upper breast has been getting increasingly hard. It's on the outter edges on half of my breast from the top and around the outter edge of my breast. I am nursing and pumping to get it soft but seems to stay hard. Help? I'm kind of scared. I don't want an abcess or get really sick. I don't have a direct line to my doctors office... I just got done with my prenatal OB and can't call them anymore. Does anyone have any insight on this?
