Pregnancy & Parenting - 18 November 2007

If my calculation is right i am almost 10 week pregnant.
I went for a scan a month ago there's small fetus there.And as for the second time which 3 weeks ago there' still a fetus there and it growth from 3.5 to 5.6, but yesterday i went to scan cause the second time's result was not convincing and its vague.Hower this time doctor coudnt find anything( the third time i see a different gynae)
Please Help if anyone have gone thru this?

i posted a question a short while ago about explaining the death of my childrens father to them one or two of you seem to think i am going to tell my kids thier father was an evil man that is not my plan i am an ex addict myself so i do understand . my children already know that there father was an alcoholic because he had told them this against my advice what i'm saying is that they are all angry at him and i don't want them to be i want them to understand about the illness he had, thanks for your answers though.

I'm not a mother (I'm 24) and I live with a 13yo girl (passed parents) who became my best friend as soon as we met each other.I know I will make suffer everyone who ever tries to hurt her (emotionally or physically).She is my best friend, we share everything, talk about everything, help and support each other, discuss problems.We have never yelled at each other and we've never 'punished' each-other (I know I'm supposed to punish her but if she decides to ignore me it would be the worst punishment for me) and we settle the rules together (she usually takes really good decisions).We snuggle (cuddle) any time.She is a lot more for me than a sister or a best friend. I can't explain it quite well but she is the best person I know,the best friend (support) I have and if anyone ever tries to hurt her, I will protect her or I'll revenge for her.Do all parents feel the same with their children? Or is your contact with them only yelling, criticizing and punishing?

I keep getting a dull ache in my left kidney, I am 9 weeks pregnant. It doesnt hurt when i go to the toilet i just get a ache every now and again.
Saturday night i had a couple of sharp pains in my left side too but they were where my kidneys are.

Is this where my body is moving everything around and normal, or kidney infection?
Ive had a kidney infection before and it dont feel like this...

I just put a question on getting things ready for the delivery and its sad that mommies around arent excited to share. So i thought id put the question again to see if i am getting some answers :-) I feel nice to read experiences of other moms. Lemme see if i am getting some answers this time.

Ive just completed 29weeks today and i already feel very uncomfy and suffering due to lack of breath.I am kinda overwhelmed and i dont get sleep when i think i havent got the baby clothes washed and ironed and arranged in place. I have bought everything but yet to arrange. Just wanted to know what mums around are doing? I mean during which week are you planning to get the things ready or during which week did you get it ready!

Now fingers crossed and i hope ill get some response this time!!!

I am 9 weeks pregnant and look like poop!
Im pale and i look ill. I dont feel exactly energitic but i dont feel as bad as i feel!
When will i start getting these benefits, i.e glowing skin, glossy hair etc!
I feel really tired and i am having plenty of sleep, though it takes me a while to drift off...

I lost my show 8 days ago & was 4cm dilated, I have had 2 nights of very bad contractions after sex (this is my second so I know the difference between Braxton Hicks & real contractions), Baby is engaged but other than that, nothing seems to be happening so it's starting to get very disheartening that I'm feeling so uncomfortable but my due date isn't until 30 Nov (I'm 38 weeks & 3 days pregnant)! I don't think I could go another 11 days, especially as since I was 31 weeks my midwife has been saying he could arrive any day as I've been having strong Braxton Hicks since then & he is apparently going to be a big baby. My first son was born at 37w2d at 8lb 2oz. So basically what I want to know is what are the other signs labour is approaching e.g. diahhrea & when do you think I will go into labour based on all that I have told you? Please give me some hope lol

People in your family, for instance my mum has on average 9 - 10lb babies ( including myself ) and she was 9lb.. Some people have told me babies weight the same most of the time?? Is this true???

I had sex with my husband on day 12 of my cycle and it is now day 17. I am now having discomfort in my abdomin, as if I am about have my period. Could I be pegnant? Or is it still too early to know and the discomfort is just coincedent? (Sorry about any spelling problems)

According to the doctor I am only 29 weeks pregnant, which means that I conceived in the beginning/middle of May. I took a prenancy test in April though and it showed that I was pregnant, I had no sex between the time I took the test and the time I had the ultra sound, but the ultra sound said that I was only 8 weeks pregnant at the time... Could the ultra sound have been wrong??? The reason I'm questioning this is because I've been having labour "symptoms" and the doctor is worried because I'm only 29 weeks according to all 3 of my u/s... but the pregnancy test came up + in april... i'm way confused....

My 16 year old daughter has been caught shop lifting, she drove my car. She has no licence and no experience with driving. She steals money from my purse and my husbands wallet. We don't know what to do with her, our 9 year old is seeing and hearing all of what she is doing and picking up on her bad habits. My 15 month old son and myself both got our flu shots on Thursday. Saturday my son got a temperature of 103...Gave him tylenol but have been battling the temperature ever since. It's now Monday early morning (1am) and his temperature is 102. I've called the ER and talked to a triage nurse 4 different times. They keep telling me I don't have to bring him in. What am I supposed to do? He's miserable and I'm worried!!!

I got sick on Saturday morning. I was throwing up and felt really horrible. My injection site is bruised and had a big red hard bump on it (my sons site looks fine). The red bump has almost gone away but again I called the ER and they told me not to come in.

The nurses tell me it's a "coincedence" and not because of the flu shot!!
