Well, my wife, Bianca is pregnant. I'm looking for ideas on what name we can come up with. My name is Arvee and her name is, Bianca. We already have names if it's a girl. I'm looking for names suitable for a boy. It must contain some letters from Arvee, as well as Bianca.

"I don't care!!!!!" when we ask her to comply with a rule, such as a bed time or something like that. When I asked her to go to bed last night and she refused -- I really got angry at hearing this phrase again! I've grounded her for the week: which means that she cannot go over to a friend's house...go shopping....go to an early morning child care program before school that she likes. What do you think about "grounds"????

Hi everyone!

My newborns son's name is Atlas, but we're having trouble coming up with a middle name to go with it. We were looking at a more conventional name to go with as we don't want a name that's TOO different.

Our last name is Jakes ( rhymes with cakes)

I've just recently been to a sit in on a breast feeding class and I found it very useful because there are so many things I didn't know about the advantages of breast feeding my baby.
The teacher of the class told me that you shouldn't give your baby a dummy while breast feeding because as the baby is supposed to have his/her mouth wide open to suck the milk from the areola (not the nipple) and to suck on the teet of a dummy his/her mouth only needs to be open just slightly...by giving him a dummy this will confuse him which way he should be sucking and how much his mouth should be open.
Can anyone tell me how long you should wait before you give your baby a dummy?

hi this is going to sound like a strange question but has been playing on my mind, so sorry in advance!
im 38 weeks tomo and on Tuesday at my mw appointment i found out baby is breech and the mw showed me and biggish hard lump i can always feel very very easily (even by stroking my belly) is her head. now im really worried its so easy to feel and close to the surface and worrying that it could some how get damaged because you really can feel it so clearly any advise xx

My eldest 2yo twin boy is 80% deaf, due to severe glue ear, plus has a few breathing difficulties. Although he was never diagnosed until about 6 months ago. Every day my little boy fights his way through the day.
He recently started talking and every time he speaks it is magic. I am so proud of him, words can't really explain.

His brother also never complains of having to come along to every appointment for his brother. He sits there and is so patient. He is such a good brother and son. He always reminds us that it won't be long till William (his brother) is all better.

What have your kids done to make you proud?

since the age of 2 my daughter gets up ay 1am and stays up untill 4pm the next day, when she will just drop where she is standing. we cannot wake her we have tried everything even putting her in the shower but she will sleep through that. it gets worse when she is awake at 1am she distroys the house she draws all over the walls when she knows it is wrong. she empties the fridge, we got a fridge lock but she pulls it off, i dont know how. she is also potty trained but she will wet herself up to 10 times a day. every morning we wake up we dont know what we are going to find. we took her to the doctors he thought it was funny, he did refer her but that was months ago i dont think he bothered sending the letter because he thought it was funny. i dont know what to do. i feel like i have failed her, because i have 5 children in total and the other children have never been like this.

It was a one night stantd. I saw her a few times afterwards in passing, but she wasn't far enough along to show at that point. After that we stopped talking. She never told me she was pregnant, and I found out two days after the child was born. She has never set up child support, and the child calls her boyfriend daddy. Now she is calling me asking me for ridiculous amounts of money each month and she doesn't even pay rent. She lives with her parents. I'm not worried about retroactive back pay child support because I know that she can only claim back pay from when she signed up for it. I just want to know what I should do. I have not seen my son since he was 2 months old, and I have no contact or relationship with him. I work seven days a week, so its not like I can take off and fly to the new state she lives in. Any advice?

Me and my gf had sex without a condom about a 1-1 n half months ago. I pulled out, and shes one of the best birth control, what she said. She constantly has headaches, but she had them before she says. Im worried myself that she might be pregnant, yet she said she had a irregular period like for 4 days, and wasnt a regular cycle. So im not real sure what that was all about, she just got off it yesterday. Im still worried she might be pregnant, she has a few of the common sympthons im just not sure. Since my daughter was born, her daddy has let her sleep with us in our waterbed. She suggested that if we buy her a DOra bed that she would sleep in it, well we did and "NO" she doesnt. Well now she says that if we buy her a waterbed that she will sleep in that. We want to get her a waterbed to try it out, but I dont believe that it will work. We still will buy her one, just because. She is a daddys girl and she gets EVERYTHING that she wants. We have actually layed down with her in her bed to get her to sleep there. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. The nights that it does work, she wakes up in the middle of the night and gets in our bed. The nights that it doesnt work, we end up falling asleep in her bed and she gets in our bed with the other one. Does any one have any ideas on what we can do to try to get her in her own bed?
