Pregnancy & Parenting - 19 November 2007

Ok so last month i was one week late, done 5hpt's all said i was preg an then a few days later i got my period, i went for check up an doc said i had no hormones in my blood so was never preg, they done a test on me and was negative??

Now this month i am four days late i done two first response tests first thing this moring and both said i was preg, got all syptoms but still will not be convinced any suggestions on what to do and what to believe?????

I will go to my doc when i am one week late i just wanna know had any one simelar experiences??

My 5 month old daughter is getting dehydrated as its now getting very warm, she sweats alot and as a result her poos are firm balls, not soft and mushy like before. She doesnt like drinking plain water so I add water to the last tiny bit of milk left in her bottle. Whats another way to get bub to drink water without mixing it in formula?

just want a few opinions really - it's early days but we have names in mind.....for a boy we have picked Bernard Thomas (might call him Barney)....and for a girl Isabella Marion Martha...obviously in both cases the child will be called by the first name only! What you think?

Eugenie? I like it for a girl. What do you think. I was just thinking about the abbreviation though. What will we call her for short? Will it be genie because i dont like that very much. I've been to a doctor before and asked if I'm capable of having a baby and she said I'm capable of having one. My husband is capable and healthy too. But we have been trying for so long now but it's just not happening. I feel miserable coz I love children. What else can I do? Somebody please help me.

She is nearly 18 they have been together 7 month's she said she is not stupid that nothing is going to happen,although 2 months ago I was shocked to find out it had been happening in my home,I have strongly advised her to go onto the pill and use condom's know it will happen whatever I say but she wants my say to go to stay there any suggestions?

for the last few nights i have been havin real bad pain in the bottom of my back but they have eased off then, but last night and all morning i having been havin back pains and they are coming about every 15-20 mins and lasting around 30 - 40 secs i know tha contractions accur like this in your stomach but i was wondering how back labour pains would be and if you think this could be what im having??this is my 1st baby im 40 weeks plus 9 days ive had a show to.

i found out that i am about 5 weeks pregnant. yesterday i had to be a witness at court and during the break i went to the toilet and noticed some spotting but didn't have any pains. when i got home i had quite a heavy bleed and it was bright red. i have had some mild cramps. i rang up nhs direct and they advised me to rest. i woke up this morning and there is no change. does it sound like i am having a misscarrige?

Ok so i had my period a week ago normal to.. But i have gained weight, my boobs are cup size bigger and hurt. i get nauseous later at night. "I work thirds so im up till 5 am" I have not taken a test yet and cant till i get paid in a month...... 5 People that i work with look at me and have told me im Prego??? I am pregnant. doctor says im 17 weeks. I do not remember my last period date exaclty but it was later july. there getting 17 weeks from measuring my baby thru ultrasound.
im curious, there giving me a conception date of about august 5th, and a due date of April 24th. thing is I slept with someone other than my boyfriend july 15&14. and yes he is aware that i slept with somebody else. him and I started having sex again right away after the 15th of july..
so my question is, even though the doctor is telling me I got pregnant the first week of august, is there ANY way, that the man I slept with on the 14& 15th of july is the father? I dont know if the doctors can be wrong on that or not,
and counting from the first week of august until now, isnt 17 weeks, its 15. Im so confused.. please no lectures Im aware this is a very stupid thing to ask a bunch of strangers but I really need help :) thanks so much!

I started my last period around the 28th of october to the 3rd of november...maybe a couple days later. My periods have always been messed up...i usually have them every two weeks for about a week. Me and my boyfriend had sex and he came inside me. We used a condom but a couple minutes afterwards he got up to go to the bathroom and i got up and got dressed...when he came back he looked for the condom on the bed, thats when we notcied where it was. IN ME! I got it out without a problem but i had layed in the bed for a couple minutes before and thought i was discharging myself but afterwards realized it was his dripping out from the condom in me. I didnt think anything of it then...because i though it was mine but it was a mildly large puddle i was laying in. Im not on birth control. Do i have a chance of being pregnant even though the condom came out with no problems?

what could be wrong? i took a test one week after i had sex negative. i took a test today still negative. i was worried about it until today after my friends said my stomach was getting bigger. i noticed it too but payed no attention. could i be getting a false negative? any advice is needed. had spotting for 2 months. i should be 12 weeks.

well i know discharge is ok while pregnant and its normal my doctor told me today/\.. but i get ALOT and i didnt tell my doctor i get a lot cuz i never realized it was that much.. but im 21 weeks and my panties get soaked from the discharge and i wipe and i have to wipe a couple times cuz its so wet.. i knwo its too much info.. but im wondering

my original dd according to lmp was 06/07/08 which put me at 11w3d. i began lightly spotting around 10w, it was brown, what they call "old blood". i thought it was ok b/c a lot of women go through some spotting. but when it didnt stop after a few days, i took a trip to the er. they did an u/s and a transvaginal u/s. with both of these they saw an empty sac and heard no heartbeat. they said i was going to m/c and to make an appt. with my dr. for the next day. when i got there they did another t/v u/s and saw yet again the empty sac but this time they took measurements. they said that the size of my gestational sac put me at 9w3d, exactly 2 weeks behind the original approximation. i have had no m/c symptoms, no pain and i only bled after the u/s for about an hour. i have all my pregnancy symptoms, except morning sickness, which i never experienced. they also mentioned that my hcg levels were high and normal. can it be possible that there is a baby, its just not visible yet or hiding?
