i'm a married mother of 3 boys. due to my complicating pregnancies my husband and i are looking to adopt a girl. My friend recently adopted a lil boy without having to go thru and agency. Is there any websites or anyways to get in touch personally with mothers who are looking for a home for their child/dren?? i heard adopting is very expensive!!!

I have a 8 daughter, It has been like this since I can remember.
She is a screamer, She does not get her way and she will scream like some one is killing her. Compleatly disrespectful, does not mind refused to do chores, does not care about anyone other then her. Lies constantly. What do we do? This is what we have done. Tried Spanking, does not work she just laughs at you, quit doing that long time ago. Grounding, no playing outside, no TV, no speicial grandma fun time. We have also tried taking things away. This child has lived for 3 months just fine with nothing in her room but bed, dresser, and books. What else can we do? How can we get to stop screaming, (and when she screams we do not give in, never have) We will soon have neibors in our apt and don't want them to call the cops, aslo have 16 month old and another on the way. We need this to stop. We have taken her to the mental health place but they wont help us also tried at school but she acts good there. Help

5:30- hubby gets dressed, gets breakfast ready, gets kids up and ready
6:00 - I wake up, take shower, do hair
6:30- I eat with the family
6:30-7:00 - get kids ready for the bus
7:00-7:20 wait for bus to get kids and leave
7:20-7:50 walk with my little kid after older goes to school
7:50-8:30 let her watch Dora
8:30-11:30, laundry, dishes, game on computer, email, play with daughter
11:30-12:30 - clean up toys, lunch
12:30-2:00 - more cleaning, computer games, maybe daughter takes a nap
2:00-2:30, get her ready to get brother from school
2:30-3:00 - Get the kids a snack
3:00-5:00 - get homework done, let son watch tv for a bit with his sis
5:00-5:30 get supper ready or make dinner plans out
5:30-9:00 hang out with family, eat dinner, and clean up dishes
acutally between 7:30-8:;30 the kids take shower brush teeth go to bed oh and we read
9:00-11:00 we spend time together

can they make it hard to get pregnant? or do they not have any effect?


I got my last period on the 11th, lasted 2 days then was gone. I had unprotected sex 2 days ago like 6 times. Of course he swears he didn't finish inside of me, but there was A LOT of liquid, and I know pre *** can get you pregnant.

I have a cyst on each ovary.

Do you prefer modern variants on old classic names? Do you like the old classic names such as Michael and Mary? Or are you someone who likes the unusual and make up your own name? Just curious.

I personally tend to like classic names and variants of classic names. I ended up naming my son Calvin. It is not so far out there of a name that people have never heard of it yet it is not very common so there wont be 5 of them in his classroom.

So this weekend good ol' AF showed up. 11 days late on my period and a blood test on friday(results today) and of course----AF----.
my doc tested my blood for problems with my thyroid, so now this is all i have to worry about.
I do not know how you ladies do it, month after month of disappointment. we have only been trying for 2 months and the letdown is making me seriously depressed. i have decided to not think about it anymore, no more "trying". i am just going to let nature do its thing, if it happens, it happens!
i am going to focus on other things, like getting in better shape, getting my life more organized... whatever. i guess i can thank my lucky stars for my 2 kids, i never realized how blessed i was to not have had any trouble getting pregnant with them.
So good luck to all of you out there TTC! I wish you the BEST of luck! Tons and tons of baby dust!

Ok so my last period was Sept 10th and it has been MIA since. I have taken several home pregn tests and all neg. Some urine test from the doc and neg, and today I went to have blood drawn for an HCG QL. I have a 16 month old and wouldn't mind if I was preg again, I am under no more stress than normal and yet still nothing.

We've been married for several years. A few years ago she realized that she could not cope with having her own biological children and wondered if we could look at adopting an older child as an alternative.(additional stressors stemmed from her childhood which she does not wish to repeat or have a child that she might despise)

This has not been easy for me since I always thought that I would have my own biological children someday. She has told me if I want to get a divorce over this she wouldn’t like it however she would be ok with it since she knows that she can’t give me a biological child. Since I don’t believe in divorce to solve the issue, should I just get over it and eventually move towards adopting a child?

to tell her I had a positive pregnancy test and that I wanted to come in and verify the results with a blood test. Well she told me that the test is not more accurate and that it is a way of verifying how far along I actually am. I wanted more than the hpt to verify I am pregnant. Please can someone tell me how much weight I shoud have gained at 15 weeks? I have put on about 6ilbs and am worrying this is too much too soon. My tummy has become alot rounder but is very soft and wobbly and I am feeling very self concious about the way I look because I don't feel I look pregnant, just like I have put on weight and I am finding this very difficult to come to terms with. Lots of my clothes are starting to feel tighter too. I guess it doesn't help with family and friends feeling they can comment on my shape and "bump" just because I am pregnant.

i know go to your vagina and then its your cervix...but how long is your vagina and how far after your vagina is your cervix??? im 33 weeks and it feels very soft and maybe 2 or 3 CM dilated.....does that sound right if im only 33 weeks???
