Totally - keep an eye out for the mucus as well. Good luck - sounds like it won't be long now.

Yes this sounds normal, blood at this stage is usually a show which means that labour is imminent, it'll probably start slowly with waves of building pain, as time passes (and that could be a lot or a little time) the pains will come closer together, until they're at the magic 5 minutes apart stage there's no point in going to hospital as they'll likely send you away (they do here anyway) it's difficult but try relaxing, have a hot drink, maybe a cool bath, make sue your hospital bag is ready and you've called anyone important that needs to know you're in labour. Good luck!

Luckily I missed that! But I was told that there may be some bleeding and discharge! This could mean that labour is on its way, My friend had the sweep then "the Show" but never went into labour ending up with a C Section, Sorry! It can happen, just because you have "The Show" it doesnt alwasy end up in Labour. Hope You go into labour soon I was 7 days later and pulling my hair out, Take Care and all the best x x

This membrane sweep does not always work. I had it done on friday and I was told that if it was going to work, I would have the baby by Monday morning. Guess what, no baby. If it works it has to work within 24-72 hours. If you go into labor after the 72 hours, then it has nothing to do with the sweep. You just went on your own.

Ohhh congrats!! I had one with my first daughter and went into labour that night. You've described a show shich is defo the onset of labour!! You should expect your contractions to start getting more regular now and once they are every 5-10 mins give the hospital a call. Unitl then, make sure your bag is packed and try to have a nice bath.

With my first daughter they did that and I bled some too when I got home. The bleeding was light and didn't last long, but about 36 hours after they did it I was in labor.

Blood is normal. Expect to start timing your contractions. If they are frequesnt and get more intense, head for the hospital. Congrats.
