i went to hospital last night as midwife advised,
im 30 weeks pregnant and had some fresh (as they would call it) blood, and i started having a mucuss (stringy) with the blood,
they checked baby and everything fine, but what was it?

p.s .. not bleeding anymore x

My daughter is 3 years old and very small and underweight for her age. Every meal time is a battle. I either have to feed her myself or threaten to smack her or throw away her toys.

They say they will eat when they are hungry but she can really hold out. I do not know what to do.

Has anyone taken this pill and had it not work?

I took it 72 hrs after and followed up with the 2nd pill in the pack as directions said...

Well, For the past three to four weeks I have been feeling very Nauseous have had headaches been dizzy on and off fevers restless at my knee joints and my face is breaking out....

Can anyone give me any suggestions?

I have purchased a second hand Boori Cot with teething and scratch marks on it and would like to fix it up.

Firstly I'm not fond of the colour but is it too much hassle to change it? Should I just fix the problem areas?
Secondly what sort of stain ( or is it a varnish ) do I use? How do I choose one that is non-toxic / kid safe?

And lastly I'd be greatful for a quick rundown on what to do.
Like do I hand or machine sand or use a stripping agent. What type of sand paper and what sort of brush for painting.

As you can see I have no idea and would appreciate the help of someone who has done it before.

the father of my 5 year old son wants to take him to visit his very ill great-granddad in hospital. please understand, i ususally would have nothing against my son visiting hospitals or his great grandad, but this time is different. i found out last night that my son's great grandad has the virus MRSA. whenever anyone visits him, they have to wear a plastic apron and gloves, but not a face mask.

u hear all kinds of horror stories about this virus on the TV news, about how contagious and dangerous it is, especially to the elderly and young. what are your opinions on this ? would any of u let your young child visit someone with this illness ? i felt bad about saying that he can't go, but of course my main priority is the health and wellbeing of my little boy.

This may be a ridiculous question, but how do you use baby powder on a newborn?

My mother tells me I should be using it, but to me, I would think it would dry out their skin?

At the moment, I use baby wipes during every nappy change and use a nappy cream after the bath on the groin/bottom and a baby moisturiser on the rest of the body, isn't this enough?

Why would I need to use it and how would it be used?

Had unprotected sex 4/5 days before my period was due. My period never showed up. Have done 3 home pregnancy tests since - all of which showed negative (cheap tests, done during the day not 1st thing in the morning). Is it too early for the tests to show? But, I just feel different. When will my period come back? Could I be pregnant? Went to the doctor - who just said that if the test was negative then I'm not pregnant (is the doctor right or just stupid?) Just want to know if I'm pregnant or not?

sorry if its too much information, but i have neverrr had a problem going to the bathroom, and i have been trying to go for 2 days, and its killing me. I cant go, it feels like needles. Is this constipation? I didn't think i'd have problems like this 5 weeks after having the baby. Also there was some blood on the TP today so i stopped going. Whats wrong with me? My BF told me that i should take a Pregnancy Test so i got one but i knew it was a little bit early but all the stress from thinking i was pregnant was bothering me so i took it anyways it came back negative and i was so releaved so i left the thought of being pregnant alone. But i am having so many signs now they just keep poppin up...i was late on my period but i didnt "miss it" i have had random headaches i am feeling drained and always tired i had my first nose bleed of my life my eyes are dried out and while i was in the tub and getting ready to go out i felt light headed like i was going to pass out...i am goin to wait about a week till i take the second test because i know thats the only ways to be sure but i just wanted to know anyones input on this to see if anyone is going thru or has gone thru the same thing or if i am just plain crazy...oh yea one more thing i am a short i guess skinny person, if i do end up pregnant how long until i should start showing?

I am 19yrs old and my husband is 21. We have 5yo twin girls. Yes this does mean I got prenant at 13 and delivered at 14. We were really stupid and thought that I couldn't get pregnant that young. Anyway, when I was 16, I had a little boy. As soon as I turned 18, my boyfriend and I got married. We both work and fully support ourselves and our kids. We're not rich by any means but we get by. My kids are happy and healthy. The girls just started kindegarten and are doing fine. But my family, especially my grandparents, still think I should give all three of my kids up for adoption because we're too young for kids that age and they'll grow up with problems. My husband and I think that they're wrong & our kids are fine. Do you think I should give my kids up for adoption? Will they grow up all right even though we're really young? It would kill me to lose them, but I don't want to keep them if it will end up hurting them in the long run. Help me please.

I habe tried everything I can think of, but he is a brat. He has a losey temper, lies, steals, the whole 9 yards. Its been getting worse over the past couple years (hormones?) He's been in councling, they say he's fine. I've tried reward systems, extra chores if he's bad, grounding, corpral punishment, taking away his belongings- I even took his whole bedroom away once!!

ive been having pains in my lower back (my baby is in OP position) as of last tuesday i was around 95% effaced and fully engaged but not dilated. i haven't lost my mucus plug yet but discharge is a lot heavier. Maebh Alexandria (Maebh is pronounced "may + v")
Elizabeth Isolde (Isolde was the Queen of the Western Isle I am very big on my heritage)
Helena Faith (These are two very important family names)

My uncle name is Valentin and I wanted to honor him if I have a son, but my son will not endure the torture of being called Valentin, but simply Valen. My oncle told me that Valentin isnt the best name to grow up with ^^
