I have decide to name my baby girl, Trinity Kristine-Maelynn. The first name is for my religious beliefs, first part of the middle name is for my husband's mother, the second is a combo of my grandmother and mother's middle names. Do you think it is too long and complicated?

i LOVE Trinity. i think Maelynn needs some work. I really prefer Trinity Kristine, its a unique first name, with a common middle name. adorable! Maelynn just sounds like an afterthought to me, and it takes the flow out of the name. Hope I helped!

I love it!! I've always had a thing for 2 middle names I like how you put your religon and family into the name!! Its very pretty. I don't think its too long my daughters name is Cheyenne Melissa- Jane which is almost as long as Trinity Kristine- Maelynn Good Luck!!

I think it is a bit long... but it depends on your last name as well. If your last name is really short then it's okay. But... if your last name is long then it's really a mouthful. Could you just wait to have another girl and use one of the names? Or chose the Kristine because you chose the first name so your husband could chose the middle name. But, they are very nice names. Good luck!

Yes. It's too long and too much.

Your kid is going to have carpel tunnel in the first grade from trying to write this...

I don't approve of Trinity as a name (Matrix much?), but if you're going to use it at least shorten the name to Trinity Kristine... plus, your daughter can go by Kristine when she needs a professional sounding name.

I think it is a long name, but as most of the heft is tucked in the middle, it shouldn't be a burden for your little girl.

Odds are that Kristine-Maelynn will flummox some databases, though. My husband's middle name (the very ordinary Christopher) often appears Christophe - apparently 10 letters is some sort of default limit. But that usually happens on pre-approved credit card offers and other things that go directly in the shredder. :)

If you're honoring loved ones, go for it. You won't regret it, and your daughter doesn't have to learn her middle name for years.

Best wishes.

I like it, it's just that Kristine and Maelynn seem to sound similar. But i like the meanings behind it :D

I like the Trinity part..but the Kristine doesnt seem to sound well..It would sound better to me if it was just Trinity Maelynn.

no because on a daily basis she will be called Trinity. it's not you are going to go around calling her Trinity Kristine Maelynn.

I personally think it is too long, how about combining the mother's name as a middle name. I have seen in school where you learn to write your full name and the child didn't know there middle name or their names took up three lines. ( I felt bad for them)

How about:

Trinity Krislynn (Chris-len)

hope this helps!

You may want to take out the first name and go with your mother and grandmother name but I do like the middle name as the first name. I hope that help.
