is this a telephone or a television??? not everyone on here if from England or knows what that means....

I'd say she is too young for either one to be in her room. If this is a television I'd say no unless you can block all channels except for educational...and defiantly NO video games except for the V-smile variety.

I think a television for a 4 year old is way too young, unless you don't have one at all and all of you will use it. If you mean to get her one and put it in her room, thats a big NO NO!!

I don't think any children of any age should have a Telly in their room as it encourages laziness and inactivity. Better to get her some outside sporting/play equipment and lessons at a dance class or something. Get her active and moving and doing things like drawing and reading to expand her brain, not rot it by sitting in front of a tv.

ok here's the thing are you forced to watch wiggles fifty times a day and bananas and humphry and and and............
My kids had a tv at that age because i hate having the main one on all day and if they really wanted to watch something they could go to their room and do it, they also have a dvd player which took them two minutes to work out,
And for the record they can't watch tv all the time but between the hours of 9 and 10.30 I'm cleaning and from 3 to 5 while I'm doing dinner and homework etc and then if there is time before bed, but i can have the main one off and my music going
