Okay, the two girl names are.

Maebh Alexandria (Maebh is pronounced "may + v")
Elizabeth Isolde (Isolde was the Queen of the Western Isle I am very big on my heritage)
Helena Faith (These are two very important family names)

My uncle name is Valentin and I wanted to honor him if I have a son, but my son will not endure the torture of being called Valentin, but simply Valen. My oncle told me that Valentin isnt the best name to grow up with ^^

The names I have are
Malachy Valen- ("mala + ki" is a biblical name)
Mickael Valen
Jesse Valen

Any suggestions with Valen as the first name? I need a middle name.

I like all your girl names. The prettiest is Helena Faith (would the accent be on the first syllable --HEL-en-uh?), the most romantic Elizabeth Isolde (I love the name Isolde!), and the most unique is Maebh Alexandria (choose this one if you want your daughter to have a first name that is different from everyone else's). Your taste in names is similar to mine. You like names that are rare but have actually existed somewhere in history.

As for boys' names, my favorites are Michael/Mikhael Valen and Malachi Valen. I would suggest you spell the names their standard way -- it will save your kids trouble later on, and names aren't any more unique or interesting when they are spelled in a different way. If you want to use Valen as a first name, give your child a common middle name. I like:
Valen John
Valen Timothy
Valen Nathaniel
Valen Christopher
Valen James
Valen Jeremiah
Valen Alexander

How are you planning to pronounce Valen? VAL-in? or VAY-lin?

Note for Having a Daddy's Girl Soon: Malachi was NOT Satan's angel. He was a prophet. He has a whole book named after him. It's the last one in the Old Testament.

Elizabeth Isolde is the best of the three girls names. Second choice would be Helena Faith...and I would never in a million years go with the first one...it looks akward and sounds even worse. Alexandria is a nice middle name though.

As for the boys names...If you go with Malachy, spell it properly. Malachi, not the way you've got it. Yes, I know it's a biblical name, and the correct spelling of it is Malachi. And I'm not sure how you're pronouncing Mickael...I'm guessing "Mick-Kael", and if I'm right, then you should spell that properly as well. Mikhail.

I'd go with Mikhail Valen if you can't figure out a good middle name to go with Valen as a first name.

For a girl, I like either Elizabeth Isolde or Helena Faith. It's not that Maebh is a bad name but if you needed to put the pronunciation in right off the bat, think of how your child would go through life.

For a boy, I like Malachi Valen. It is a nice name.

Good luck!

If you're going to give the kids freakshow first names at least give them ordinary middle names so they can choose to go by those if they want.

These kids are going to spend the rest of their lives explaining how to spell and pronounce their names. Poor little tyke.

Whether you name the kid Valen or Valentin they're going to get teased so just name the kids Valentin. A good middle name for Valen would be something simple like James, that way when the kid hates Valen they can tell people to call them James or Jim.

Elizabeth and Helena are nice.

Jesse is nice.

The rest will lead to years of bullying and teasing. I think these names might actually count as child abuse.

None of those are Indian names.

I live in Korea but I'm not giving my kid a weird name (although they will have a Korean name in addition to their "American" name).

Out of the girls names, I would choose Helena Faith because both names have sentimental value to your family, and I'm not a fan of the "weird" spelling/sounding names such as Maebh.

For your little boy I would choose Mickael Valen, but I'd spell "Mickael" by the common spelling Michael. I'm not sure I would like Valen as a first name though. I think it works out much better as a middle name.

Helena Faith is the girl's name I like most.

Jesse Valen for the boy's name.

I think traditional names are best... it saves the child from ridicule. Also, traditional spellings are better too, because if not, every time your son or daughter gives out their name they're going to have to spell it out or say "Michael... with a K... M-i-c-k-a-e-l"... I don't know, I think it would get annoying.

Maebh would be called "Maybe" all the time.... You could try just Mae.

I definitely love all of those names on boys more! With the exception of Brooke. I think boy names on girls is really tacky and unattractive, and it makes things really confusing when you're talking about someone and can't tell if they're a boy or girl. I mean one of the main purposes for a name is to be able to tell someones gender... Plus girls are taking all the sweet boy names and now it's like you can't name your son something that isn't "Mr. Super Butch McTestosterone" sounding. As for the surnames like McKenzie and Addison, those should just stay surnames... I don't like them on either gender. Edit: I think it would be embarrassing to some to meet someone of the opposite sex with their name, I know some girls who don't care, and then there's my friends Logan and Morgan who are both girls and get really annoyed by it and Logan gets "butch" jokes a lot from people because she looks very tomboyish and you know people are just @sses sometimes, so sometimes bullying can be a problem too which is another reason I don't like it. And I feel bad for boys with names that are starting to be used on girls because now they're getting picked on by kids that don't know better too.

Does Valen have to be a boy? How about Valen Alexandria? Valen Isolde? Valen Faith?

Valen Jesse. Valen is growing on me. It's cool. It should be a first name.
