Yesterday I was out for like 10 minutes to run an errant and when I got back, I saw an empty juice bottle!! My family decided my 10 week old son looked thirsty and gave him some of my niece's juice! This is the second time they've done this, after I've told them not to! They gave him 60 ml (about 2 oz) of the stuff! They said they diluted it, so it's "ok"...

They also love to give him 'tastes' of food. The other day I found my sister trying to force him to lick a cheese curl! When I ask them not to do it, they tell me not to 'be like that'. Like I'm being difficult or a b*tch.

I am at my wit's end here... They're ALL like that. They say, "well so and so's baby got this and that at this age and s/he's fine". In my opinion So and So needs some training if they gave a 10wk old chips!!

I can't keep the baby away from them, but obviously I can't trust them either! What to do?

My dad told me something the other night, which really upset me, and made me think. I'm 17. He told me that after i was born, my mother fell pregnant again, at her second scan, the baby wasn't moving, at the time i think my mother was 4-5 months along. The baby was covered in cancer, and had died. My mother had to have treatment for the cancer she had in her womb. I didnt ask anything else, i didnt go into detail, it upset me to much, that i could of had a little brother or sister. I already have two older brothers. It really got to me this news, my mother can't have children anymore either.
Im just wondering whether it is ok to be upset by this news? It's really got to me, how can i think of something else?

She just went to her appt and he told her that she is not dilated. Her cervix is still closed. Is this normal or should she be dilated by now?

Should i take it this evening when i get off or should i skip today and take it tomorrow morning? I feel really bad because ive been doing very good and i take them at the same time everyday. Will this affect the baby at all? Thanks in advance. Im 6weeks 2days prego baby #1

I got him to hug and kiss her. Then she told him to go away because he had hit her earlier so he just went on hitting. He hits everyone. At least he isn't biting anymore.

was and they sent me to have a scan, but i started to get brown dicharge the day after i went to the doctors so i was worried and they did a scan early they saw the sac but nothing in it yet, it was all in the correct place, they are saying its more than likey to be eptopic i now have to wait till next week for another scan to see if anything has grown in the sac im so worried has anyone had this?? plus im probably only 4 weeks gone would there be any thing growing in there yet anyway??

Hi, I am sitting here typing this in tears as I am in so much agony with piles, i see my doctor today who examined me and explained that i had 1 which has a blood clot in it. I am wanting to try for a virginal birth as iv had a c-section before, but right now i cant think of anything worse than giving birth with this huge thing hanging and hurting. It is running me down and all i want is to be excited about meeting my baby soon. Has any1 else suffered from these before during labour/pregnancy? I am due a sweep tommorow as i am unable to be induced due to previous section, iv got enough pain without that!

he's been teething but has now cut a top tooth so its more painfull. i dont want to stop as i love nursing him, and he has never had a bottle. but when i take him of and say no he just laughs or smiles. but my nipple are sp sore its hurts when he latches on

I have been with my boyfriend for going on 3 years now & we have been talking about having a child. I am not on birth control and I already have one child however, I just can't seem to get pregnant. I'm 28 weeks preg and my baby has been kicking and moving non stoppingly since yesterday even when I'm sleeping he keeps moving around. When I'm laying on my left side, he kicks on the left side so I try laying on the other side to give him some space, but then he moves to the other side too. Is he teasing me or what? hehe.
It's not bothering me, I love the feeling though it gets annoying sometimes when it's too much, but I just wanna know if that's normal?

Ok so I had protected sex August 26th with guy A, unfortunately the condom fell out of me about 2 days later. I had unprotected sex for the next week with guy B until my period on Sept. 3rd which was bleeding it was not light pink or anything. Then had unprotected sex all through the first few weeks of Sept. with guy B. I had taken a pregnancy test almost every week in Sept and all were negative even tested Sept 27th and still got a negative. I then got a positive result on Oct. 4th.I had an ultrasound November 7th where I measured 10 weeks 2 days, which would give me a due date of June 9th. Is there any way guy A could be the father?????

In the early stages of your pregnancy, did you find that it hurt your breasts when you slept on your stomach? I mean before you even started showing, and were still able to sleep on your stomach, did your breasts feel sore when you did or did it not bother you at all? Thanks in advance!

I'm looking to buy a Graco double stroller, the one where one seat is behind the other. I have an infant and a 38 lb. preschooler. The weight limit on the seat is 40 lbs.

Has anyone used a stroller like this with a 40 - 45 lb child? I don't need it for more than 6 months, but I want to know if it will even work for my 38 lb. child.

Does anyone have any recomendations? I need a double stroller that I can clip the infant seat into (for the baby's safety). Also, I need one that I can find cheap and second hand. The Graco double strollers are available at thrift shops and in the want ads.

Thanks for your advice/experience!

I have two children ages 3 & 8. They do not have an established bedtime. The 8 yr old will go to sleep on her own at 9:00 and gets up every morning without a problem. I had a lady tell me children needed a certain amount of sleep every night so that their organs could be rejuvanated (sp) She tried to make me feel like a bad Mom for not having them on a sleep schedule. Am I really harming them by not having them to bed by a set time?
