Vivian but that's because it's the name of my favorite aunt. She was really cool. However, I knew a Vada and she was a lovely person. Vada sounds very film noir.

I really like Vada. Always have. It's the My Girl reference I think :) Vivian is much too old fashioned for my taste. Vada seems more modern.

She'll get teased with a name like "Vada". Vivian is a prettier name and can be shortened to "Vivi" or "Viv".
Another one you may want to consider is the Italian name for the city of Venice ... it's "Venezia".

I like Vada but not the spelling cause some would mispronouce it.You would probably get alot of people say it with the a sound it cat.
