No, not at all. She still has another month of pregnancy left. Most women, especially first timers, dont dilate until a few days before delivery.

This is normal but every pregnancy is different hun. At 36 weeks I would say that's a good thing. You want the baby to stay in as long as possible. Once a woman starts to dilate the baby can come at any time thereafter. Trust me, the baby will arrive when it's ready. Congrats!

Normal. Even people who are dilated don't go into labor until their due date, or after. I was dilated to 1cm by my 28th week, and I had her at 40 weeks. Things can change in two weeks. I wouldn't worry about it. That baby will be here in a month!!!!! Awe, a Christmas baby!!! What a sweet gift!!! Congratulation's to both of you!!!!!

She's fine. Sometimes women don't dilate until they are ready to be admitted. Besides, since 37 weeks is term, it's a good thing she's not dilate yet. Congrats =)

Every woman and every pregnancy is different!! With my first I was 2 cm by my 36th week and was induced at 37 weeks. She still has 4 weeks to go and who knows, she may even go over her due date. Unless the doctor said there is something to worry about then just relax. Her body will progress as it feels the need to. I know you guys must be anxious, I was with my first towards the end and now I am on my second at 29 weeks waiting on pins and needles with my hubby. Congrats!!!!

very normal, some women do not dilate until a few minutes before giving birth at 40 weeks.
in fact i would venture to say it would be more abnormal had she been dilated. especially if this is her first.

Oh for goodness' sake, permit her positioned the tree up. She needless to say desires to have it, and by making use of making her wait, she will possibly no longer experience as much because it whilst the "suited" time comes. She's thoroughly good approximately getting it achieved NOW, while you already know you have time. between Thanksgiving, wellness care provider's appointments, and the extra rigidity of "any day now," it will be no longer simple to get any Christmas adorning achieved in a while. purely permit her have her tree now. it will make her chuffed, and there is no longer something worse than an unhappy, pregnant woman...

It is totally normal. Sperm help soften the cervix, and once the cervix is soft, it will start to dilate. Good luck daddy and mommy!!!!!
