Hi, I am sitting here typing this in tears as I am in so much agony with piles, i see my doctor today who examined me and explained that i had 1 which has a blood clot in it. I am wanting to try for a virginal birth as iv had a c-section before, but right now i cant think of anything worse than giving birth with this huge thing hanging and hurting. It is running me down and all i want is to be excited about meeting my baby soon. Has any1 else suffered from these before during labour/pregnancy? I am due a sweep tommorow as i am unable to be induced due to previous section, iv got enough pain without that!

I had HORRIBLE hemmeroids when I was pregnant. I had to ice my butt and pile pillows up so I could lay on my front with it up in the air to get rid of the swelling. They were soooooo horrible. I thought labor would be so bad with them, because it hurt so bad just to poop- BUT it didnt. They ruptured and got pretty bad, but then they were over. After the baby was out the pressure was off and the constipation ended and they slowly went back to normal. Well.. normal in the sense that they didnt bleed or hurt anymore... theyre still there.. just not inflamed like before.

When its all said and done, and you've had time to heal, they can remove them for you... if theyre extreme, they will remove them directly after delivery.

Talk to your doctor about it.

my aunt did, she said it was the most painful thing EVER! She was absolutely miserable, at all times. I havent been through it and hopfully wont but I know that it will get better once the baby gets here. I know that doesnt help at all now, i really hope you get to feeling better. I cant imagine the pain you must be going through!
story from net:
What helped me was so simple and it worked almost immediately. It was sitting in a bath of salted water. Or use a bowl with perhaps half a cup of salt in fairly warm water. Sit for at least 10 to 15 minutes or longer if wanted. Relief is almost immediate. This I did in a hospital in Qld and I am forever grateful.

I am soooo sorry. That is absolutely horrible. Have you asked your doctor what the best form of delivery is? Even if you do deliver vaginally, I know you are worried that it will be even worse with your condition, but if you get an epidural, you wont feel anything down there. When I had my epidural, I was barely even able to move my legs let alone feel what was going on in that region.

You may want to try a sitz bath right now, it may help reduce your pain.

Hemorrhoids are associated with constipation and straining at bowel movements. How to get rid of hemorrhoids https://tr.im/0Ase6
Pregnancy is also associated with hemorrhoids. These conditions lead to increased pressure within the hemorrhoidal veins that causes them to swell. Other conditions, for example chronic liver disease, may also cause increased venous pressure and may be associated with hemorrhoids. Hemorrhoids are very common and are estimated to occur in up to one-half of the population by age 50.
