I've been taking provera every month since June to try and bring on a period. I only get a tiny drop of blood. Then I take clomid a few days after. Haven't gotten pregant yet. Just finished last provera pill today- waiting for period so I can start a double dose of clomid this time. Good luck!

Once infertility has been diagnosed, there are a number of treatment options available depending on the root cause of the problem. Learn here https://tr.im/4MLEz
Infertility is a condition defined as not being able to become pregnant after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Women who suffer from multiple miscarriages may also be diagnosed as infertile. Infertility may be classified into two groups, primary and secondary infertility.

Speaking from personal experience here, after my first baby the Doctor suggested Provera for me. I agreed but at no point did he discuss with me the possible difficulty in trying to conceive after coming off it. Anyway after a year and 1 month of having these injections I decided to try for my second child. When my next one was due at the end of the three months I just never went back for it. Then after telling a few friends and family that I was trying for a baby they all started to say "oh goodluck with that then after being on the contraceptive injection". Id never heard it was hard to fall after being on this so I decided to go and have a chat with the nurse. She advised me that the doctor should have informed me that it was likely to take upto 2 years to fall pregnant after being on this method of contraception. I was horrified as Id wanted a fairly small age gap between my two kids and had even told the doctor who prescribed it to me. Anyway the following month my period never came. After having loads of problems with bleeding whilst on it I assumed that this was just my body settling down.....but the next month, again no period.I did a test and it was positive!! So not ALL women have a long wait after being on this method, although I was only on it for a year so maybe that had some impact on me being able to conceive so soon after. Fingers crossed for you, goodluck x

Provera won't help you get pregnant, per se. Its purpose is to jump start your period, so that you can start a new cycle in which you can try to conceive. If you're having trouble ovulating, it won't help with that. You'll take something else, like Clomid, to help you ovulate.
I started on provera back in March to jump start a new cycle for me since I hadn't had my period since December and I started on Clomid to help me ovulate.
Good luck!!!
