My son is almost 4 years old. I've gotton him one of those batery jeeps. I had a barbie car when I was little and loved it, so I'm hoping he loves this. Anywayz, I am telling him about Santa and he is ecited. He loves getting his picture taking with Santa. He points and says loook mom there santa!! And plus I tell him if he isn't good he won't get any presents from Santa and he is good. =)

I took my toddler to see Father Christmas (Santa) and he was so scared! So I guess we will tell him about Father Christmas next year!
He just had his 2nd birthday recently and has got so much stuff already - I think it overwhelms him a bit and he is not really playing with much of it. I decided to get a few quality items like coloured wooden blocks and puzzles (his favourite toys now are a wooden shape sorter and anything with wheels). He is also getting books - he loves them so I found some with lift-the-flaps as he likes to be able to manipulate things.
I don't like the Teletubbies but he loves them so I bought him a doll with lights and a moving screen on its tummy! My other toddler (aged 1) is getting some educational toys too. They are getting a couple of shared presents too - a wading pool and mini trampoline.
It is hard not to go overboard with presents when there are so many nice things out there! Toddlers don't need much though, some good quality basics which teach concepts are the best (and a few fun things as well).

My son is 2 1/2. I don't know, for sure, yet everything I'm getting him. He has made it clear that he wants a Packers football helmet, that's the only thing I've purchased so far. His room & toy room is overflowing w/ toys so I really don't want to get a lot of small things. I'm leaning towards a train set/ table.
Yes, he believes in Santa. I see no harm in it. I found out the truth at the age of 5 and it didn't scar me. He, actually, gets very excited regarding Santa Claus.

I have twin 2 yr old girls - they are getting the Dora/Diego aqua doodle mat; double sided art easel; Mr & Mrs Potato head; Dora ball castle; and big girl beds.
We have told them about Santa. They don't understand, but know that Santa is a good thing.
I'm sure when we get the house decorated and they get to see all the fun associated with Christmas and learn about Jesus it will start to make sense to them.

I am getting my 2 year old the Hide and Find Blues Clues and Sprinkle. the Elmo knows your name cell phone and a Fisher Price Basketball goal and a Little people airplane. We are going to introduce him to the concept of Santa Claus this year even though I think he will only be interested in ripping off the wrapping paper.

Santa is bringing our 4.5-year-old a slot-racing set. Yes, we tell him about Santa, because it's part of the shared American experience. If we lived in China, for example, we'd be telling him something very different, of course.

I am getting my 4 yr old her first real bicycle, with training wheels of course. We 'believe' in Santa in our house and I plan to keep it that way as long as I can.
